🐈‍⬛ FOSTERING SAVES LIVES 🐈‍⬛

29 kitties officially became Whiskers, Tails and Ferals kitties yesterday. We had two sets of mama’s and babies , several kitties from feral colonies like Yeti and a last minute save of three precious kittens found abandoned in a box . They all have their own unique story of being homeless and now will have a wonderful future . We are so grateful for our pilot Kim Purcell of PilotsNPaws and her husband with their willingness to fly our kitties once again . It cannot be done without our Fresno fosters, we truly couldn’t do it without all of YOU . With WT&F doing an amazing job being the “closer“ fully vetting and screening for the best home for each and every precious kitty . We appreciate everyone more than words can express saving each one of these precious lives.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
In Whiskers Tails and Ferals tradition our heartstrings are tugged on to share the love with others in need. This is a week that reminds us to count our blessings and be grateful. Which it reminds us to spread love.
So this week we had many pleas in need to help many, in which we did. We opened our homes to the many in need some of us are full while bursting at the seams. But we all made room for one more, a few more, several more and even a bakers dozen more.
It is the season to show gratefulness and gratitude.
The gentleman who delivered his kitties to us because he’s being evicted. Trying to hold his emotions back but the emotions were overflowing with gratitude as he gave us his beloved kitties that needed a safe place to go to. He was down to the wire not knowing what to do with one of them, because he did not have a place for them to go let alone the other three that we took. He was beyond grateful for the one that he did not know what he would do with and the tears were flowing with gratitude filled with sadness. But truly thankful for the blessing of a safe place for them to go.
Then you have the many shelters that are bursting at the seams that are looking for safe places and rescues to take in the animals in need. So typical of this Thanksgiving day we have always rescued from shelters of the animals in need. So yesterday many kitties came in the last late hours to safety from the shelters who reached out and needed help.

Struggling with our own emotions and overwhelming love for these animals that don’t have a choice but to rely on the people to save them. “PEOPLE” wow that’s a word that takes a village and people working together. People who share the posts. People who support with generous donations of even a dollar or more. People who donate supplies and food to feed all these mouths. People who advocate for these animals. People who network these animals. People who transport these animals. People who volunteer to take care of the kitties in our adoption centers. People who do the laundry for these animals. People who open their homes and foster while caring for these animals. People who are vets that give off their time and share their expertise for these rescues. People who volunteer their Days on adoption days to find them homes. People who adopt these animals into their families and cherish them.
TRULY AMAZING the village of people it takes to care for all these animals through the journey of finding forever homes to love them.
This is what holidays mean to show gratitude, gratefulness, be thankful and truly count the many blessings around us.
So to say we are thankful is an understatement. We are grateful for all the support that surrounds us because it truly takes a village of people who care to make a difference.❤️ A heartfelt thank you to everyone! Have a wonderful beautiful day to you and yours!

Meet DeDe! He’s a 4month old sweetie who loves to hang out on the bed with you and play with toys. He can be found playing with his siblings too. He is super soft and is very easy going. He would love to find a forever home!

Meet Snowball (black and white) & Noodle (brown tabby)! Both of these adorable boys are available for adoption. Snowball is the cautious one of the bunch, but that doesn’t stop him from exploring or cuddling. He loves to do zoomies with his siblings and play too. He is a unique one because every since he was a baby, he would freeze when being picked up and then melt into your arms 🥰 He has been raised around kids ages 3-13, cats, and a small dog.

Noodle is the biggest lover and he goes out of his way to show it. He will head butt you to get love (in the most gentle way of course), and he will rub his body all over yours until you give into his cuteness and give him some head scratches. He is great with kids, cats, and a small dog.

Kitten adoptions at Vallejo petco Saturday from 1-3 thru whiskers tails and ferals. Pick up an application on our main fb page and submit it or bring it with you. Walk ins welcome on a first come first served basis. Those with appointments will be given priority.

Willow is a cool and confident 1 year old calico. There isn't much that rattles this girl. Big dog...doesn't bat an eye. Loud noises..."Must you be so noisy?" Willow is the perfect mixture of playful kitten (but knows how to be chill) and snuggle bug (but doesn't have to constantly be the focus). She found her inner goofball after her kittens were raised and out of the house. And she loves to talk about what's on her mind. Willow gets along with everyone; cats, dogs, people of all sizes. She would be the purrfect companion in any home.

Willow (1 year old) is free at last. This teen mom raised her beautiful babies and watched them all find their furever homes. Willow has reclaimed her inner kitten. She chases around the house after catnip mice and jingle balls. Willow loves to hideout in her little house when playtime is over. She is a very affectionate cat with the sweetest little meow. Willow does live with other cats but really only gets along with the boys (unless they are kittens). She gets along great with our pitbull and chihuahua. Although she hasn't had kid experience at our house, Willow's mellow personality would fit well with a little person.

Pip (DOB 10/8/21), or little miss fluff butt, is a girl who knows what she wants. She doesn't follow after the crowd. Pip is the leader of the pack. If a toy has feathers or fur, it is hers for the taking. She will drag it off like a prized conquest. Pip loves to be with someone who wants to play. She isn't the first to want to snuggle but she will make herself comfortable on your lap at naptime. Pip has been raised with other cats, a pitbull, and a chihuahua. She doesn't have kid experience but if they want to play she will be their best friend.

Darby (DOB 10/8/21) is the sweetest petite princess. She just wants to give loves and purr. Darby, of course, has lots of kitten energy and loves to chase around with her siblings. But her favorite activity is cuddling with her person and watching TV (yes, she really watches TV). Darby has been raised with other cats, a pitbull, and a chihuahua. She doesn't have kid experience but is super chill. Darby would do great with a cat-savvy little person.

Who's looking for a best friend? Chevy (DOB 10/8/21) is the girl for you. She has it all. Chevy likes to talk about your day. She doesn't think she is too pretty to wrestle and play around. Chevy rewards your attention with purrs and she loves to snuggle for nap time. She has been raised with other cats, a pitbull, and a chihuahua. Chevy doesn't have kid experience but nothing phases this girl. She would love a little human of her own.

**ADOPTED** At first glance, Specks (DOB 10/8/21) may look like a handsome house panther. If you look closely, you can see he is actually a tabby in disguise. Specks is a quiet observer until the tabby clown in him cuts loose. He likes to hide in tunnels and pounce on unsuspecting siblings. Specks purrs the instant you even look like you are going to pet him. He has been raised with older cats, a chihuahua, and a pittie. Specks does not have any kid experience, unless you count obnoxious 20 year olds, but would love to have a cat-savvy little playmate.
