Have any of you gotten this message through Facebook lately? This was sent through my business page which I rarely post on anyways. I went to both of my pages and there’s no notice of suspension or anything. I did notice when I first clicked on the message below, it did open up a screen that asked me for my password and username. I did not click on it and backed out because I realized it was probably a scam. Just wanted everybody to be aware. It’s exhausting having to manage scammers all the time. I suggest they get a life.😡

This is Rosie. She apparently went missing several days ago, was picked up and taken to the shelter, and held for three days, and then a family adopted her. The 81-year-old man who is her real owner didn’t know how to look for her when she went missing, and so he missed the window of when she was at the shelter. He really wants her back if possible. She apparently was adopted to a family that has another basset hound. I posted a previous video that I shared from Amber archer who is trying to get the word out.if anybody knows the family and the family is willing to talk to the owner or at least let him say goodbye to her, please do what you can to make that connection. I feel terrible for him. He’s missing his baby girl.
Happy Sunday from Feather & Bijou💖

If you believe ANY BRAND of pet food is causing or has caused illness or death:
Stop the food immediately.
Report it to the FDA: https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/report-problem/how-report-pet-food-complaint
Contact your veterinarian. Request a copy of your pet's medical records. Report your concerns to the pet food company and ask your vet to do the same.
PLEASE COMPLETE THIS SURVEY https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/S8SMQGD
*Update as of 1/4/24 - 213 dogs and cats (155 dogs, and 58 cats) sick eating Purina, 57 of which have died.
Since 12/5/23 in the 'Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time' group on Facebook there have been 48 dogs and 3 cats sick eating Purina, 10 of which have died. It seems to be from all different types of Purina, with Purina Pro Plan being the most common. If you or someone you know is feeding this food, I would stop immediately! Do NOT wait until your pet gets sick or Purina issues a recall.
Join the Facebook group 'Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time' for additional information and resources.

info from Savings Pets One Pet @ a Time:
"Stop the food immediately. Post in the group above what your pets current diet is and medical conditions and we will help you find a more nutritious and safer diet.
Save the pet food. Do NOT release it to Purina in any circumstances.
Contact your vet and request a copy of your pets medical records. Ask the vet to report your concerns to Purina.
Report it to the FDA (https://truthaboutpetfood.com/report-a-suspect-risk-pet.../)
Report it to Purina (https://www.purina.com/contact-us)
Do NOT agree to send them the food. If you feel compelled to do so, only send a small portion. Keep the rest of the food in the freezer.
Do NOT send the medical records to Purina.
Document your conversation with Purina.
Purina may eventually say they will pay your vet bills and reimburse you for your pet food. If you agree to this they will ask you to sign a form which will prohibit you from taking legal action. Eventually, if there is a class action lawsuit you will be unable to join if you do this or if you want to file your own lawsuit.
Consider getting your pet food tested:(https://truthaboutpetfood.com/help-to-check-your-pet-food/) This would be helpful if you want to pursue legal action.
Purina has already been notified by numerous pet owners and they have not done anything to alert unsuspecting pet parents. Initially, there were offering to reimburse the pet owners for their pet food. Currently, they are offering pet parents $10 in coupons (which is what Hills offered me for my dead dog) and having a third party contact the pet parents.
Eventually, we may see Purina pet food become “unavailable” on the store shelves. This is called a silent recall. The pet food manufacturer doesn’t want to admit there is a problem with the product, so they start pulling the products off the shelves quietly. (Hills did this for 60 days before the recall)."

“Hi,
Montana will not be at camp for the next two Thursdays. She is going on a road trip to visit her sister in Idaho!
However, please continue to charge my credit card for the last two Thursdays in June for a full day at camp.
Use it to sponsor another dog at camp or as a donation. It is a heartfelt THANK YOU for all you do for dogs.
Your camp has given Montana so much confidence and agility and she is exhausted when she gets home.
Your camp is an essential service not just for dog parents but for dogs as well. Thank you so much.
Take care,

***UPDATE*** REUNITED!! Killian is home safe & sound after 13 days, 13 hours :)
"We are so incredibly releived to have Killian home with us. Thank you to all who sent positive thoughts and prayers our way. We had so many people reach out to help us. VC is an amazing community. Thank you to all the good people down at the end of Anthony. I couldn't believe how much support we received.
The biggest thanks to Babs Fry. She is one incredible lady and this definitely would not be possible without her. ❤
Killian will have a warm bed to sleep in and a full tummy tonight thanks to her."

I don’t like posting negative situations to the public, but I feel this is too important not to share. The first pictures are a nasty post that was put on nextdoor.com yesterday. The truth behind her comments are as follows: on Jan 20, 2020, Ms. Gorospe and her son brought Boo to us for grooming. We had groomed him one time before over a year ago and he was so matted that it took a long time to do the grooming. The customer told my staff that they did not want to take him to a vet to be groomed this time. Boo was in such bad condition with a horrific ear infection that was oozing black stuff out of his ear, he had gum stuck to his chest underneath his harness, he was so matted that he could not p**p out of his bottom as you can see in the photo how swollen his re**um was. His neck was swollen and had what appeared to be possible puncture marks but I’m not sure. In order to shave him it takes a long time because the mats are stuck to his skin which require using scissors to try and release them from the skin. This is very time-consuming and very uncomfortable for the dog. He was such a good sport through it all and has such a sweet disposition. He also had a very mushy belly as you can see in the picture and we assumed he might be constipated because his re**um was covered with matted fur. We in no way attempted to play doctor as Rose mentions. It took two people to clean up his ear, remove the gum from his chest, and to shave him down. There is only so much a dog can take so if the shave down didn’t come out perfect, I’d say that isn’t our fault but it is the fault of the owner of the dog who doesn’t brush their dog in between Grooming appointments. We even called the vet that they go to to see if he had any medical issues that they were aware of. Ultimately, we were very concerned about the dog and his health. I made the decision to contact the Humane Society and ask them to go do a wellness check on Boo. We only charged them the standard rate for a bath and haircut even though it took seven hours to do the grooming, yet Ms. Gorospe wants her money back!
I don’t understand how a person can blame us for the condition of their dog. We do the best that we can and have been in business for 20 years. The level of experience of a groomer wouldn’t have made any difference in the outcome of this grooming. We hope Boo is feeling better and that he received the proper medical attention to address his infections and swollen abdomen. Our first and foremost concerns are for the animals in our care. To accuse us of anything less is extremely disappointing😔.

Our lovely Kira is doing a wonderful job as surrogate Mama for our pups! Part of the issues many dogs have is due to being taken away from Mama too soon. Ideally, they should stay with Mama until 4 months of age so that they are taught the advanced boundaries and skills of pack mentality. It is crucial that we humans do our best to provide this guidance when we adopt a pup at a young age. Watch how Kira backs little Bina (red collar) off when she is being too pushy! Perfect...🐾💗🐾
A LOVELY REVIEW FROM OUR LOVELY CUSTOMER AND FRIEND, MONIKA...Tomorrow, Thursday, it has been three weeks that Filou has arrived and I don’t know where to begin to thank Lindsay, Donny and you for all the wonderful support and training you have given him (and us as well) in order to become such a well behaved puppy. It’s just amazing how he responds to commands like leave it, heal, sit and stay. Of course, we still have a way to go, but he is well on his path to become a truly good canine citizen. Your head start program for puppies is worth every penny. The way he walks next to us without pulling is a dream come true, honestly. And when we meet friends on our walks - with our without dogs, he sits and reacts very politely, sometimes a little skittish, but he is getting more comfortable at that as well. He loves meeting the other dogs and respects them. Again our sincere and heartfelt thanks: Life is good again; especially also knowing that sweet Loompie has been adopted by her hero Donny to whom we are eternally grateful. I think I mentioned it to you, but it deserves repeating: Life for us is bright and full of sunshine again. Love to you all, you are a wonderful and passionate team who truly understand and read ‘man and his best friend'. Monika and Pat
Does your dog hate going to the groomer? Have you been turned away by groomers due to your dog showing aggression while being groomed? Have you spent several hundred dollars to take your dog to the vet to be put under so that your dog can be groomed? We have the solution! Our groomer has devised a system that doesn't require anesthesia, and allows your dog to learn to trust the groomer and maybe even learn to like being groomed. We use an all-natural calming chew that works fast to help settle your dog down prior to being groomed. If your dog is prone to biting the groomer, we use a gentle muzzle and a cone so that your dog cannot bite, which allows the groomer to feel safe while grooming your dog. We charge an additional $25* fee for special handling. For large dogs, an additional fee of $15 may be required if a second handler is required. OVERALL, YOU WILL PAY LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE AS MOST VETS CHARGE TO USE ANESTHESIA, not to mention the health risks of anesthesia. *See our website for normal rates and services
