Arlo, Gia, Hershey and Mia are getting the weekend started off right! 
This is certainly a well exercised group of pups! Their day started with potty breaks, breakfast, then post breakfast potty breaks all before 6:30 AM! They then had time to let their tummies settle and starting at 8:20 up until now have been on a constant rotation of groups outside to play! Everyone will rest now for a bit before dinner at 5 PM.
Nothing but the best for our trio of senior labs!

Morning playtime for some of this week’s residents! Tucker, Nala, Shelby, Bishop, Bodie and Mocha are enjoying a good romp!
I had to get a video of morning playtime today! I typically keep playgroups to 3-4 dogs. However, this is what happens when you have a well-rounded group of labradors, all of which I know very well and have been coming here for years! (Lily is the only newcomer, and she has fit in beautifully this week!)
Boy oh boy, I owe a huge thank you to two amazing women today and this video says it all! If you’ve picked up and dropped off on the weekends, chances are you have met Mackenzie and or Libby! Mackenzie is here regularly on Friday afternoon/Saturday morning/Sunday morning. I truly owe my sanity to her as having those few hours away on the weekend days are much needed time off for this seven day a week business owner! She is my right hand! Libby has been with me for years now. Her schedule is a bit bit more irregular, but you will often see her here in the afternoons or other fill in shifts as needed (when she’s not working as a vet assistant for her full time job!) She is fabulous! They were both here today, which allowed me to have some time away for my weekend run this morning, then spend the rest of the day with my family, including an early Easter visit with my parents! I came back this evening to feed dinner and these dogs were tired from all the playtime and calm as can be! Thank you Mackenzie and Libby for helping make Grateful Dog Kennels such a safe and happy place for all the dogs! (Clients, if you happen to see either of these girls the next time you are in, be sure to thank them. They are the best of the best, and give so much love to your dogs!)
We’re getting spring break week started off right this morning! Arlo, Havana, and Woodford joined Nala and Lucy this morning! Many more friends are arriving later! ❤️🐾
