🐷💛 WE’RE BACK! 💛🐷
But are proceeding with caution!!

After a stressful few days, Pig Luv Co has officially regained some control of our page. We are still working out some bugs to ensure it is 100% solid. We want to thank every single person who reached out, stayed patient, reported the scam activity, and continued supporting our sanctuary during this mess.

A scammer briefly took over our page, removed us as admins, and began asking for donations and an Amazon wishlist that did NOT belong to our 501(c)(3).
It was frightening, frustrating, and unfair — but we fought hard and will continue to ensure security of our page.

✨Those of you that have followed us know we do not frequently post fundraisers on social media.

✨ If you donated during the takeover, please message us so we can help you verify where it went.

Most importantly…
The pigs never stopped being loved, cared for, and protected — and neither did this community.
Thank you for standing with us and cheering us on.

Now… let’s get back to what we do best:
Saving pigs. Loving pigs. And giving them a forever home. 🐷❤️

Pigs do root..but this excessive rooting is due to him being an underaged piglet who should still be with his mama. He was found alone and scared but made his way to safety and happiness with us❤️

Piglet’s root for the following reasons…

1. To find the teat and stimulate milk letdown
2. For comfort and soothing (mimics nursing)
3. For bonding with the mama or caregiver
4. To explore their environment
5. Because rooting is an instinctual foraging behavior
6. To communicate hunger or needs
7. To self-regulate stress or anxiety

Little guy was found lingering in the parking lot of a local power plant. He is still a baby and should not be away from his mama..but here we are..Oh and he NEVER stops moving 😬..
