Our stallions rocked this last weekend!!
Gio and Chloe had an amazing second event at the Equestrian Institute HT at the WA State Horse Park in Cle Elum, WA. The pair finished again on their dressage score with double clear in cross country and stadium jumping. They ended up in 2nd place and only 0.1p away from 1st place!!
Tsjalle and Denise showed at the USDF/USEF rated show Dressage at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, MT. They earned 2x 1st places and a 5th with their personal best at First Level Test 3 with 69.58%.

Both stallions were amazing ambassadors for the breed and received so many compliments for their cuteness and excellent disposition! These two boys are actively breeding live cover, have mares confirmed in foal for next year AND can go to outside shows/compete in recognized open competitions without anyone suspecting that they are stallions.

We are honored to be chosen as the "herd of the month" by the Chewelah Veterinary Clinic! The health and well being of our herd, stallions, broodmares, foals and youngsters is top priority for us. Due to the excellent veterinary services provided by Dr. Miranda Cleveland and the staff of the Chewelah Veterinary Clinic we are proud to announce that now, at the end of May, we have 12 mares confirmed in foal between our stallions Gio, Tsjalle, Siljar and Kian. These include 6 maiden mares that all caught on their first cycle and three mares on their foal heat. This kind of success speaks a lot to the health of our herd and is only possible with the help of an excellent care team!

Ironwood Helena (OH Wynn x FC Madellin by Modellen) is confirmed in foal to Gio for 2025! We LOVE this cross and hoping for another beautiful full sister to DD Helana and DD Hazel!
We bought Helena in 2019 only based on her bloodlines. She was a 14yr old hardly handled maiden mare and has really blossomed becoming a broodmare. This will be her 5th foal in 2025 for us plus we got two grand-offspring from her this year with DD Matteo and DD Merkur, sired by her son DD Malibu. For next year, her daughter DD Hera (by Tsjalle) is also confirmed in foal to Gio!

Gio and Chloe Dunsmoor had a wonderful start to the 2024 eventing season! The pair finished on their dressage score with double clear in stadium jumping and cross country. They worked their way up to be tied at 3rd place! In the end, the two seconds they were faster in the xc and therefore further away from the optimum time (they came in at 5:00 and optimum time was 5:02) made the difference to place 4th with the same score as the 3rd place and only 1.8p away from first place!!
Way to start off the season and we are looking forward to watching this pair grow more together and have lots of fun together!

Gio has been home for the last couple weeks, but will be leaving again shortly for a Karen O'Neal clinic at the WA Horse Park.
Nonetheless, his short visit was at least fruitful with our homebred white dun mare DD Hera (Tsjalle x Ironwood Helena by OH Wynn). Hera is confirmed with her first foal for March 2025. Her dam has crossed exceptionally well with Gio in the past, so we are very excited to see how this little one will turn out!

LVG Faski proudly presented her white dun c**t a week early. This handsome fella is sired by our homebred stallion (now gelding) DD Malibu (Prince Maximus Sur Mer x Ironwood Helena by OH Wynn).

DD Merkur has quite the line of ancestors to show off including Prydarson, Felix, Flotren, Mogly, Bakkens Marius and Modellen. He is already showing great presence and we are hoping he will stay intact for future breeding use.

Vivian is confirmed in foal to the blue ribbon evaluated import stallion Kian Klattrup!
Our lovely Siljar daughter took on the first try as a young maiden mare with the 22 year old stallion. We can't wait to see this little one! This foal is spoken for.

Kian would love to entertain more mares this season. So far, he has bred young maiden mares from our program and got all them pregnant on the first cycle. He is extremely fertile and a great choice for everyone who is looking to add a little more suppleness and sportiness to their mare. His bloodlines are not very common in NA.

SOLD Coming up on consignment! Unicorn alert!! 🦄 White dun Fjord gelding in his mid teens. He was shown in 2022 Training Level Test 3 at this first show and scored 68.103. He was awarded Training Level Champion. He is currently solid 1st level and schooling 2nd movements. He’s been in professional training for over 2 years. He’s an amazing trail horse and will go out alone or with a group and he loves water. He’s easy to handle, load, bath, clip, trailer and will stand tied for hours. He lives in or out. Really comfortable smooth gaits and easy to sit the trot. He’s athletic and sensitive. He is not gonna be cheap, but everyone who has ever tried to bring a Fjord up in the levels in dressage knows how much goes into it. 25,###. He is purebred and registered. Our handsome red dun Gio son is leaving this weekend to go to his new home in CA! We love his movement and super expressive markings. He is out of Zelda by Bluebird Lane Griffon and we will have a full sibling available next year. EDIT: He is super closely related to DD Gnist, who is currently available. Zelda and Greta are 3/4 sisters.

For your consideration: Hall Mountain's Siri is a 15 year old registered Norwegian Fjordhorse mare, who stands 14.1hh. She has been used in a therapeutic riding program before coming to Dungard. Siri had a pasture accident as a 2 year old and has a scar on her face as a result. Because of that shocking experience, she had a mild laminitis, but our farrier ensures that there has been no rotation of the coffin bone. Nonetheless, Siri needs to be maintained in a dry lot and is sensitive to fresh grass and alfalfa. She is a willing trail partner and would be a wonderful family horse/member. Siri is confirmed in foal to Siljar for a April 2019 foal! Please contact for more information!

DD Simba knows that he is a stallion! He is now 7 weeks old and is already trained in Spanish Walk and Passage ;) We think he is going to be a fun and very talented riding horse in the future.

While I was working on a fence project, we had our kittens outside and one of them follwoed me all the way across 5 paddocks and then back. On our way back, she was stopped by Dolly, who was just curious what that little thing is. Neither Dolly or the kitten was hurt,but it was a shock for the little one to meet her first Fjord!.
