When Dr. Butler bought Valparaiso Animal Hospital in January of 2010, she made a vow to care for her patients as she would like her own pets to be cared for. With this in mind, she chose her staff... the most dedicated, caring, and competent staff in Porter County!!

✨Priscilla needs a home for the holidays! 🎄

🌟 Introducing Priscilla! 🌟 This enchanting princess has been with us since May and has truly blossomed into a beautiful cat, inside and out, at Porter County Animal Shelter. She’s ready to find her forever home! 🏡 When Priscilla first arrived, she was quite stressed and sassy, but now she’s eager to be the center of attention. 🎉

At about 2 years old, she is a stunning long-haired black cat! 🖤 Priscilla loves affection and gives little head bumps to get your attention—how sweet is that? 😻 She would thrive best in a single-cat home, as she tends to get stressed in the presence of other feline companions. Please don’t let that scare you away—she just simply has plenty of love to give her human companion and would rather not share with other felines🤷🏻‍♀️! ❤️

✨ADOPT GROVER✨

Here is our new pal, Grover! SUPER GROVER🦸‍♂️🐶

Grover is a proud new addition to PCAS! He has come a long way in his confidence since intake, he was running the streets for a few weeks evading people from getting caught. Once he was brought to the shelter it took some time for him to truly blossom into the wonderful dog he is and we are still discovering his goofy personality! He is about 8 years young and weighs around 50 lbs. Grover can be a nervous dog when meeting new people, but once he offers his paw that is the beginning of a new friendship!❤️ If you’re interested in more information contact PCAS at 219-465-3550 ext. 2!!

Introducing Peanut!🥜🐶

Peanut is a handsome tan and white husky mix! He is about 4 years now, he is also neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He has lived with a dog and cats before and has done well! Peanut is a very friendly boy who loves to play around and get belly rubs! He is looking for his forever home where he can play, run around, and then take a fat nap with you on the couch!
