Our horses owe us nothing, we owe them everything in return. When we built our new facility, we prioritized not only turn out for our show horses, but plenty of large retirement pastures. Our retirees enjoy large paddocks with oversized sheds, custom feed programs, unlimited quality coastal hay, alfalfa, and full service care. PC Charles Davis Photography

Love these unique views captured by Charles Davis Photography. Do you notice the sky lights don't match up on the covered arena? That's a super functional feature that allows for equal lighting regardless of time of day. Lumen studies during the build process determine number and placement of sly lights. Sky lights coupled with LED lighting ensure a bright and shadow free riding environment.

This morning we lost a bright light in the Spellbound family, Tammie Andersen, Rhondie's beautiful mom passed away due to cancer. Tammie was an integral part of Spellbound during the our time at Noelling Hills. She worked tirelessly to provide the opportunity and environment for Rhondie to grow up in a barn. She was wonderfully kind and everyone (people and animals) loved her. Please think of Rhondie and her family during this time. All of us here at Spellbound Farm send a heart felt Thank You! to everyone who made our Winter and Spring shows a success! We hosted 5 shows in the first half of 2024. Our first USHJA Outreach Winter Series was so much fun, making the best of a very wet season. In April, we hosted our largest show to date, with 120 entries for our NTHJC Spring Show. We celebrated Father's Day with DHJSC, finally getting the show in after so much rain! We hope to see you all this September for our DHJSC Fall show and our Halloween NTHJC show in October! PC

Andy, Asher, Apple, and Albus left for their new home this morning. Sister Addie was rehomed as a bottle baby a couple of weeks ago. I'll miss these kiddos, but they (and their Mommies) are right down the road with our client Kirstin and family! Spellbound Farm Mini Goat Division is off and running! Our next batch is due in August. Contact us to get on the wait list for available kids 🐐

A little late posting, last week we got to catch up and visit with one of our Spellbound Farm OGs. It was so awesome to have Chardonnay, Jeremy, and Aspen here at the farm for a (far too short) visit! 15 years has passed in a blink of the eye. I am so so proud of all you have accomplished, can't wait to see you again soon!

Spellbound Farm is on the search for a new team member! Spellbound is a private hunter/jumper training and show program located North of Mckinney in Van Alstyne. We have an opening for a working student. Our working students are responsible for grooming, tacking, bathing, therapies, and general assistance to the trainers. NO STALL CLEANING. Summer hours in the mornings only. Opportunity to ride available to qualified candidates. Compensation in the form of board and training. Contact us for more information.

Hey all, we are good here. We have flooding and trees down, but everyone is well. Unfortunately, many of our neighbors have been horrifically impacted by the storms last night. Our hearts ache for the lost of life and property. **We have up to 20 stalls available to those in need and we are capable of medicating, wrapping, and caring for injured or displaced horses (and goats). Please reach out to Tracey at 214 402 6472 if you need help or a place to shelter. We are available to transport if needed.

There are not enough words. This pony was so so special to so many people. Mirage, Braveheart, Mir Mir, Mir Bear he had as many names as he did girls who loved him. I am incredibly sad and yet so lucky to have had many years with him and then have him retired back with me at the end of his career. He lived an incredible life in his 30 plus years, and taught so many. With Mirage, you were either winning or learning. Mirage left us tonight under the lights of a carnival and to the music of a live band. Ridiculous, but somehow the most appropriate passing I could have imagined for our little Crayola orange Arab pony. Pony, you will be so missed. 🧡

Sweet girl tried her hardest, but it was just too great a hill to climb. Far to early for the babies to be born, unable to stand, and refusing food, we made the hard decision to let Heidi go. Endless thanks to Dr.Cari and my guys Arturo and Hernan for everything.

We had to use one of the design features of our main barn today. Our 16 ft aisles and oversized doors allow for us to pass through the barn without having to clear the aisles. We designed this facility to be able to get a truck and trailer looped around and through the barn to load or unload at a stall. Granted, it was purpose planned for equines, not a downed and very pregnant goat. Jingles and good juju, please, for our sweet Heidi. She's three weeks out and down with Pregnancy Ketosis. We are hoping we can make it to kidding and she will recover fully once her babies are born. In the meantime, we are operating as Spellbound Farm Hunters/Jumpers/Goat ICU.
