BAND CONCERT REMINDER

Each Section of every Band needs to remember to bring their cake to the Gym by 5:15 pm on Thursday for the Bucket Cake Raffle and to remind your family and friends about purchasing their raffle tickets that evening.

Tickets are 5/$5 with 5 bonus tickets for every $20/tickets purchased.

Drawings will be staggered throughout the program.

Friendly Reminder: We no longer serve refreshments due to time constraints so please do not bring cookies this year; thanks!

Some facts about FAB:

1. We create scholarship opportunities for seniors who have participated in Band and Theatre.
2. We help treat and feed these students when they are a contest and at special events.
3. We give back to our district by assisting with the costs of things like our trailer and charter buses.
4. We serve thousands of snacks and meals at our district concession stand all the while supporting our junior class with a good portion of the proceeds.

This Thanksgiving, as FAB gives thanks for our creative students, we also give thanks to the community of parents and friends who support us so that we can support them. The more we support them, the more they are motivated by our love and encouragement, and the more successful they are apt to be.

We are a Junior High and Senior High School organization. If you have a child in Art, Theatre Arts, or Band, you automatically are considered a member of FAB. We do not require membership fees. We do however ask that you contribute to the success of our program by supporting your child and this program in your own unique way, whether that be by donating your time at the concession stand, assisting one of the directors by creating goody bags or chaperoning an event, or making a financial contribution via our write a check fundraiser, Krispy Kreme fundraiser, concert silent auctions, and any other fundraising activity we may offer.

Please consider sharing this post with other fine arts parents that you are friends with on FB. We often hear parents tell us that they just did not know some or all of the above information so please help us strengthen our organization by a spreading the word with a simple SHARE.
