We’ve got several gun dogs headed home this month and one of my favorite was Remi the GSP! He was very fun to train and enjoyed every bit! Working on steadiness here which pays off huge during the season!!!

THIS is why I love what I do! Diesel started a little timid and thought the water was a no fly zone lol. Now he is confident, excited, and crushing it! Here is cash at the line running yesterdays water double. first mark (memory bird) is thrown left to right in the middle of a tight channel at 60 yards stay wet when making the retrieve and return. Second mark (go bird) is thrown into open water straight at you off a point at 90 yards.

Got Cash out for some friendly competition this morning! I explain a lot in the video, but long story short if you’re having problems getting your pup comfortable/confident in water. One option is to get a pup that is comfortable in water to show em how it’s done!

Sage is doing really well through Force fetch! We love to see that tail wagging through all stages of training. Keeping their spirits up helps build confidence and here we build pups that are confident in following their commands, not scared of what will happen if they don’t. Teach Teach Teach!!

Sandy with some Decoy introduction! A Must for any future duck dog!! Over the next couple of days she will be working on fun retrieves in the decoys, going through the decoys, over top of them. Any and everything to help show her these things are merely just out there ignore them and get the real thing!🦆

Artemis is wrapping up here time here, and we are gonna miss her! She is about to graduate our advanced obedience program, and is doing great! We loved watching this sweet pup come out of her shell!!

We show plenty of the high drive dogs around here, but this is also part of training. Some aren’t as gung ho to retrieve as others. However I give everything I’ve got into those that need it a little more than the rest. Axle has been here for 1 1/2 months and not picked up a single retrieve and honestly he didn’t care to. Through hard work and perseverance on both parts Axle made his first retrieves today! Now we keep building that drive!!!

What… A… DOG!!!! Daisy is putting it all together! I knew she was very prepared for this season, but seeing her push through 8 dozen decoys and swim 125+ yards let me know just how ready she was. I love to watch this girl work she loves her job and is getting very good at it!
