Good morning, everyone. As you are aware, the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Auction is approaching in October, and I am eager to initiate the donation process. We are supporting Sharon Johnson from Houston, MS, who is courageously battling breast cancer. All auction proceeds will be dedicated to assisting her with medical expenses, transportation, medication, and other essential needs. I invite you to contribute generously, with non-perishable items welcome, and kindly request that you notify me promptly to ensure your inclusion.
Meet Sharon Johnson. She is a loving mother of 4, Grandmother of 10, and great grandmother of 3. She was diagnosed November 14, 2023, with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, the more aggressive type of breast cancer. Since then, she has undergone surgery to remove cancer, as well as different types of chemo. She has taken 8 IV chemo treatments, 20 radiation treatments, and is currently on 4000 mg a day chemo pills that are as strong as the IV chemo. She has been hospitalized several times due to her passing out at home alone because of her low numbers. She had to quit her job at a Pulmonary doctor’s office because she is unable to work or safely drive, and is no longer able to stay home alone on a daily basis. Sharon has gone through losing all her hair and the process of beginning to regrow some of it. Through all of this she has tried to stay positive as much as possible and tries to have a smile on her face throughout.
