Hello again boarders. Horses are well but we did have a busted water pipe. My handy Randy is getting us fixed up but water is currently shut off. Sorry for the inconvenience. We did have stored water prepared for the storm and we are using that to top off water buckets to make sure all horses have water. This should be fixed shortly

Good news boarders! Looks like we have made it to the other side of our strangles situation. That lasted longer than anticipated and I know you are all relieved as I am for it to be over. Our Vet has been out today and and inspected all the herd and gave the all clear! Dr Byrd will be out next week for routine herd work and we will be scheduling a day for teeth floating and sheath cleaning shortly after. Also I have been in touch with our nutrition specialist about coming out and speaking with anyone Interested and evaluating horses. I will send out an email when we get it scheduled. We will be doing a deep cleaning of the barns where stalls will be stripped and barns sanitized days in a row. I will keep you posted!

Good morning boarders! Everyone should have received an email with updates and cold weather plan. Please read and be prepared. We are starting to salt feed to promote the horses to drink plenty of water in an effort to get them well hydrated before the drop in temps. Please make sure you have banamine on hand as colic is more likely when weather gets like this. A kind boarder is heading to the vets office this morning to get her supply of banamine and has offered to pick up for other boarders if needed. Please respond ASAP if you want to take advantage and have her pick that up for you while she is there.

Good morning everyone. I hoped you made it through the nasty weather without much damage. Horses are up and alert this morning. Everyone seems happy. There is some damage to the facility. Fencing and arena took a hit. Please be careful if you come out and I would prefer if you didn’t bring extra guest out until we get it all cleaned up just for safety. I’m sure once it is daylight we will find more that needs to be done.
