I had an odd encounter today. It's about 60 degrees today, but if your car is in the direct sun, it's a little warm in the car. There was a car parked next to me at the accountant when I went to leave. I stepped back inside and asked if they could let their client know their dog was too warm, and that there were shady spots just a few spaces down. I waited to see if anybody would respond, and a lady came out and more or less told me to mind my own business, the dog was fine. I asked if she had ever work vet, and she told me she didn't give a f*ck if I had or not, I needed to mind my own business.

Then another lady came out and gave me more of the same. For the record, I NEVER cursed, raised my voice or was verbally abusive. I said if they ignored me I was going to call Animal control (I didn't). Then the 2nd lady started doing a video so she "could show people what sort of a business I am". She videoed until I drove away and was very threatening.

Okay, I worked Vet for 25 years, and every Spring or Summer it was the same emergency once or twice a year. The owner comes flying in with a dog that either dead, or out flat. They are hysterical, and every one of them said, "I didn't know!!!! I was only in the store for a minute!" We usually couldn't save the animal.

So, if you see anything about this on social media, please bear in mind my heart was in the right place and I would do exactly the same thing again. I got in this business to be on the side of animals and it's where I will continue to be.

These 3 kitties are still looking for their forever home. They are 11 weeks old, had their first set of vaccines and they are all male. Give us a call and take one home!

And then there were 3. One kitten found his new forever home today! There are 3 left. All boys, first round of shots, worming and flea control today. Very socialized and happy. Let us know if your car needs a companion!

I took in a litter of kittens from Nextdoor. They are 10 weeks old and appear very healthy. I know I've talked to people who were looking for kittens. Here they are!
