Hatchling feeding day! Even though it takes five times as long as feeding the rest of our collection, these babies sure know how to entertain. Most of them were trying to do carryout today, so snapped some great candid shots 🐁📷⚜️

Just got this treasure in earlier in the week, and have already finished reading through it (for the first time)! It's got some great info on the natural history, keeping, and breeding of the species and a huge section on morphology. Very interesting read! very nicely done, Mr. Rhodes 👏🏻🐍⚜️
So much color change in the past year from our female Sable Conda het Albino, Mona Lisa! It's so hard to capture the true richness of her color on camera, and she is absolutely still one of my favorite girls. 😍
The first pic is from 9 months ago, the rest from today. We can't wait til next season to see her offspring in our Sunburst project! 🎨🌅⚜️
I may be biased because this was our first hatchling, but I cannot stop looking at this gorgeous boy. If this was a female, it would absolutely be a holdback... I'm still really tempted, but I do have 2 females from the second clutch Mystique laid, so he's looking for new digs!

A couple of feeding wins today! First picture is a male Toffee Superconda/Candy that just proved himself to be a consistent feeder and will be graduating to Morph Market. Second pic is the female Candy Cocktail that hatched in Mystique's first clutch, weighing all of 3g. Until today, she has been assist fed mouse tails, but just graduated to pinky heads!! 🥰🍬🍹⚜️
We've got some real bangers hatching from this last clutch! Pairing was Arctic dh Coral x Purple Line Extreme Red Arctic Conda dh Coral, and they've made some stunning hatchlings 😎🪸⚜️

Turns out that Sheldon is a Shelly (though I think we'll probably keep referring to her as Sheldon at this point) and she finally decided to move out of her egg at day 60! 🤷🏻♀️🙄⚜️

1)Caramel Conda het Evans Hypo x Evans Hypo het Caramel: Day 59 - one last baby to go....calling this one Sheldon since he seems to prefer his egg to the real world 🤦🏻♀️🙄
2) Toffee Conda het Sable x Candy het Sable: Day 48 - only 5 more left to finish hatching, these babies practically popped out of their eggs, with a MaiTai something still to fully emerge and 1 mystery remaining 😮
3) Arctic dh Coral x Extreme Red Arctic Conda dh Coral: Day 49 - the first one to pip is a cute, crisp Arctic or Arctic Conda 🤷🏻♀️😁
Unlike the previous clutch that just hatched, Mystique's second clutch couldn't wait to come into the world. Yesterday was day 47, and I woke up to 12/15 hatchlings already making their appearance! Beautiful mixed clutch from our girl again! 😍🍬🍬🍹🍹⚜️
R.I.P. to the newest drama noodle - every clutch has that one that's just EXTRA, and this is the winner from our Frost-maker clutch! ⚰️🏆🙄🤣⚜️

Another one of our females is going into her pre-lay shed! She was paired with our Purple Line Albino Superconda male and will hopefully give us some snow (and yetis!) in July❄️🌨️⚜️
MULAN UPDATE:
For anyone following along, I thought I would post this exciting update to Mulan's saga. We finally got the last egg pushed out during her warm soak this morning, and my girl is finally empty!
She has been egg bound since 4/18, with two trips to an exotics vet for calcium gluconate injections, and eight eggs laid along the way.
Initial injection was 4/19, on 4/21 she was offered (and ate!) 2 fuzzies dusted with vitamins, calcium with D3, and NutriBac, and then on 4/22 she finally laid her first egg in the morning, and the second egg in the evening. No other eggs appeared for an additional 48 hours, so we went back for another calcium gluconate injection. 2 days later, she laid egg number three on 4/27, and then egg number 4 came out during a warm soak in the tub on 4/30.
*During this entire time, she has been fed every 4 days to try to keep her strength up and build back nutrients in her body, with prey items increasing in size as she made more room by expelling the eggs. She also received twice daily warm soaks in the tub, remained active & alert, and was drinking, urinating, and defecating all normally.*
I was able to help push out eggs number 5 & 6 after a warm soak on 5/1, pretty much back to back because they were near her vent. Egg number 7 was laid in her egg bin, and we FINALLY got #8 out this morning after her soak. The entire ordeal lasted approximately 2 weeks, and it has been a bittersweet time for us with all of the new clutches we've been gifted with while also remaining stressed by Mulan's condition.
Thankfully, the medical attention from her veterinarians, as well as all of the positive thoughts, prayers, and vibes from anyone following her story, and with only slight assistance from me, it seems that she will be making a full recovery!
