We just wanted to take a moment to say - what a badass team! Momma showed up, with baby, to work with Mondo at our pack walk yesterday.
Mondo’s reactivity was a leading factor in their decision to put him through Board & Train. After training, with consistency from the family, Mondo has had incredible growth.
It’s not always easy to show up and do the work - so huge props to Mihkayla for showing up with Mondo and baby, and making it work! That’s dedication, and it shows in Mondo’s growth and change in behavior.
One of the most important parts of training is the follow through after, and we are here to support you every step of the way and provide opportunities to do so.

Here’s a part of training you don’t normally see! The messy middle, where things aren’t always perfect. The dogs in this video are all in our Courteous Canine program , focusing on learning the place command and proofing it with higher distractions.
This is the imperfect part, where they are still learning what the expectation is for “place”. Sometimes, the ways we try and distract them can get a little silly!

Happy 4th of July! The humans aren’t the only ones who get to spend the day lounging in the pool, sunbathing and having fun! These pups have had a fantastic day so far in the sunshine 🐾🌞

Just a few snippets from another wonderful week at ADBF! We enjoyed our first week on the new turf at our West location, our Board & Train dogs enjoyed lots of time outside building their skills and our daycare participants had a blast!
We have been loving the sunshine and are looking forward to more time in the sun playing in the pools and splash pads! Our enrichment theme next week is Water Bark and we are READY - who will be signing up?

Coming when called is such a life saving skill. Just like the rest of training, it requires hundreds of reps and lots of different environments. We have 2 training programs that teach recall. If that’s a skill you would like your dog to have and be consistent with, please reach out! Enjoy the bloopers at the end 😂🐾
Meet Gabi, our newest Trainer, and take a look at Puppy kindergarten. Puppy kindergarten days are structured around obedience, nap, social skills, confidence building, and fun! Gabi has been with us for 2 years now and is on the journey of Dog Training, at our West location.
We took in a litter of 4 puppies and their dad! There are 2 girls and 2 boys and they are 14 weeks old. Over the next month, we will get everyone their vaccines, worming, spay/neuter and their other care needs. Overall, we are looking at about $1800 just in medical expenses. We are also getting the mom spayed, but she will stay with the original owner. If you would like to donate to their medical care, here is the link for that.
