Hold up! Don't swipe past just yet! I've got a lot to say about this little bundle of energy called me. I'm not just any puppy – I'm a ten-month-old dynamo about to blow out my first candle! Don't be fooled by my puppy-dog eyes – I'm ready to conquer the world!
I'm a quick learner, and I'm pretty sure I'll be an outdoor superstar. Swimming, hiking, or just chasing squirrels – count me in! I'm also a total people (and dog) person. Kids love me; other pups adore me (except maybe cats – they're missing out). The vet? Let's just say it's a work in progress. I'm brave, but needles aren't my jab. JAM, needles are not my jam. A little extra love and patience would be my hero! And can we talk about this amazing three-quarter tail? It's like nature's own fashion statement.

Zeus finally found his family! It’s been almost 2 years! The perfect fit is worth the wait. We are so happy for all of them! ❤️
WEST Clients - Due to the heat, our West location will be closed on Tuesday, July 9th. We do have AC, but being in a warehouse, we just cannot keep it cool enough on consecutive high temp days. We can accommodate those reservations at our East location. Please let us know if you would like them moved.
Some members of our training team spent the weekend learning some new skills at a Tom Davis workshop. We cannot wait to show you some things we will be bringing to our programs.

We took in a litter of 4 puppies and their dad! There are 2 girls and 2 boys and they are 14 weeks old. Over the next month, we will get everyone their vaccines, worming, spay/neuter and their other care needs. Overall, we are looking at about $1800 just in medical expenses. We are also getting the mom spayed, but she will stay with the original owner. If you would like to donate to their medical care, here is the link for that. What’s on your agenda today? Jaime and Jager are out training in the real world. We hit Nature’s Pet, in Hazel Dell and Taps in Ridgefield. Working hard on his anxious nature. These dog friendly places are extremely helpful. He’s learning to relax and let the world go by.

Exciting news! We are hosting this event! We are working out the details, but the dates are set. Tickets are on sale now and very limited quantity.
Lots of tickets are already sold (super grateful!), but we still have some working spots as well as audit spots with the lottery for auxiliary working spots! 😍
As promised, we’ve got more dates/locations for you (with others to be announced soon), and this morning is the big kickoff of actual ticket sales.
Here’s some quick info on the tickets, and why the time of the launch matters: there are only 5 guaranteed working spots per location, and these spots are first come first served. So if you want a working spot, best to grab it as soon as this goes live. The other ticket options are regular attendance single tickets and regular attendance friend/partner/spouse discounted multiple tickets. (Both of these ticket options enter you into a optional lottery where if you’d like to bring a dog for us to work we’ll go over your dog’s issues and your goals and determine if your dog might be a good fit for the seminar.)

Foam Party Day 2!
We just wanted to take a moment to say - what a badass team! Momma showed up, with baby, to work with Mondo at our pack walk yesterday. Mondo’s reactivity was a leading factor in their decision to put him through Board & Train. After training, with consistency from the family, Mondo has had incredible growth. It’s not always easy to show up and do the work - so huge props to Mihkayla for showing up with Mondo and baby, and making it work! That’s dedication, and it shows in Mondo’s growth and change in behavior. One of the most important parts of training is the follow through after, and we are here to support you every step of the way and provide opportunities to do so.
Looking for a fun indoor activity with your dog to beat the heat? Check out this how to on making a snuffle ball, send to a friend who’s dog loves to rip things up, and let us know if your pup enjoyed! In addition to being fun, toys like this are great for mental stimulation and are an awesome option to tire your dog out on days like today where it’s too hot to be outside! 🌞🐾
Here’s a part of training you don’t normally see! The messy middle, where things aren’t always perfect. The dogs in this video are all in our Courteous Canine program , focusing on learning the place command and proofing it with higher distractions. This is the imperfect part, where they are still learning what the expectation is for “place”. Sometimes, the ways we try and distract them can get a little silly! Just a few snippets from another wonderful week at ADBF! We enjoyed our first week on the new turf at our West location, our Board & Train dogs enjoyed lots of time outside building their skills and our daycare participants had a blast! We have been loving the sunshine and are looking forward to more time in the sun playing in the pools and splash pads!
