Dig deeper dog training DOG TRAINING THAT WORKS:
Let us navigate your success story starting today. Our goal is to give you the tools to set up a successful lifestyle.

Ian King created Dig Deeper Dog Training to do just that: help people dig deep and find the source of the problem within their relationship with their dog. With our system, we show you how to become interesting to your dog and gain the focus needed to obtain reliable obedience while maintaining an awesome fun-filled relationship. We utilize a fair balanced, and effective approach to working with y

our dog. To us, "dog training" is about two things: communication and a relationship. Communication is what builds the relationship that we rely on in order to navigate the success that we do. Simply put, everything we do with our dogs is a conversation. Whether we are using food, or a training tool, our goal is to always handle a dog in a fair, clear, and consistent form of communication! Through tapping into natural drives such as movement, timing, and technique, we engage and guide our dogs through the challenges we will face together as a team. The end goal is to maintain continuity with the everyday interactions you will have with your dog, and how you influence and affect them to get to the relationship you ultimately desire; we will help you get there!

Pack Walks Are here—and They’re a Hit!

These walks are available exclusively to our past clients, and let me tell you… they’re powerful.

Every weekend, I watch people grow alongside their dogs—gaining confidence, building trust, and overcoming challenges together. There’s something special about stepping into a safe, supportive environment that still pushes you and your dog to level up.

If you want in on this transformative experience, now’s the time. Get your dog into one of our programs so you’re ready to join us for pack walks this coming summer.

It’s more than a walk—it’s a breakthrough.

Miss Curry,

You came to me during one of the most challenging times in my life.

We got a few weeks into your program, and it became clear we needed to shift the strategy.

You were too nervous to work at my place, so we moved to yours.

Most people would have seen you trembling and pulling at the end of your leash and accepted that as the reality they were working with.

But we pressed forward.

We challenged you to learn “come when called.”

We challenged the fear you had about getting on a place cot.

What we found was that the fear was really just a smokescreen to avoid doing challenging things.

It turns out you’re fully capable of enjoying life like a normal dog. Today, you came back out to my place and stormed the neighborhood like you owned it.

It took longer than seven sessions.

But we don’t train to a number of sessions—we train to change lives. And for Curry, the world’s doors just flew open.

By challenging fear.

Swami dropped by today for a quick session—just enough to refine the freedom he’s earned through his training. He spent the day enjoying the beach, so we only had a little energy to work with, but that was all we needed.

When Swami first came here, he had already been through a training program and group classes but hadn’t quite reached the level his owner wanted. This is a common story.

People often ask how long my sessions last. The truth? We’re not watching the clock—we’re focused on results. More often than not, we need far less time than people expect.

Take Swami—he learned ‘down’ on command in just five minutes today. Some dogs take longer, some learn faster—it all depends on the individual. The key isn’t time, it’s understanding what each dog needs to succeed.”

Your dog will be a reflection of the effort you put in—but you don’t have to do it alone.

The most successful dog owners we’ve worked with all have one thing in common: they keep going. Even when life happens, even when things get tough, they know real progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about persistence.

Like Mr. Blessing. He stepped away for months. But when he came back, we made sure he picked up right where he left off. Because we don’t just train dogs—we build lasting partnerships that make sure you and your dog win.

Your dog is waiting for you to lead. When you’re ready, we’ll be here to make sure you succeed. Let’s get to work.

Struggling with Leash Pulling? This Can Be a Game Changer! 🐕🚶‍♂️Blessing used to drag walks into a battle, but with consistency and the right technique, she’s learning that pulling isn’t an option. Here’s the key: You don’t want to stay stuck constantly turning into your dog forever! The goal is to gradually fade your help while making it clear that there’s a boundary they can’t cross.Leash pulling isn’t just frustrating—it can make walks stressful instead of enjoyable. But with the right approach, you can teach your dog to walk politely, focus on you, and respect the leash. If walks feel like a workout for all the wrong reasons, let’s fix it. Drop a 🐾 in the comments or DM me to get started!
