Joe & Kim Orr (Rose City Arabians) is a boutique breeding and show ranch, dedicated to international quality. We are passionate about our fabulous mares, breeding, evolving and presenting the world’s finest Arabian horses to the most internationally accomplished breeders, trainers and enthusiasts. We entered the Arabian industry in 1990 with passion and a great admiration for the breed. After a sh

ort sabatical, we have jumped back into all of it. Today, Kim and I own and operate a boutique ranch (our 3rd in 27 years) and it has become a lifestyle that we love and love to share with family and friends. My wife fell in love with the idea of buying the best Arabian mares in the world as our new foundation. Mares that represent the beauty, motion, balance and temperment of this beautiful breed we believe to be the cornerstone. Our goal is to own, breed and show horses that repersent the top 1% in the world - that is why our focus is quality and not quanity. We have created some wonderful friendships with people from all over the world that share this crazy adiction and admiration for the breed. That is probably the most rewarding part of this great business / lifestyle...except winning the roses of course...:)

What does the United States of America mean to planet earth? Lofty question. May I suggest that since the four father's wrote the letter of independence, they visualized a free nation that welcomed all sentient beings to live in peace, do their part to add to an evolving and healthy creative and rule with absolute virtue to protect this land from the selfish and unconscious.

I see a country that is revered as the world's leader. A beacon to follow, a mentor to show and light the path to a way of living and excepting, virtue, peace and balance.

At this moment, maybe we must all pause. Be still in mind and body. Become fully conscious of the critical juncture the United States currently faces, and consider what our grandchildren and possibly the universal consciousness (God) will say about the decisions we are about to make.

We all share the undeniable truth that our bodies will eventually dissolve. Many Near Death Experiences reveal a commonality: a life review. We have all made mistakes, but like children, we must eventually take personal responsibility. Did we speak kind words? Did we care for ourselves and others with integrity and truth? Did we make virtuous decisions? Did we care for the planet that was created to host all of lifes experiences ?

We were built with virtue and a great vision. I beleive that today, we must take the torch from our forefathers, accept the truth about the responsibility and unique moment in history we have been burdened with, and contemplate our life's review.

What if this era is the one that decided?

Rose City Arabians would like to congratulate Cindy McGown and Mark Davis of Royal Arabians on their purchase of the Scottsdale International and World Cup Gold Champion - Jasminia AS. As a boutique breeder, we must make very difficult decisions and we have a daughter and 2 Jasminia x Aria Rakeem filly embryos. Royal Arabians is 1 of the best homes we could ask for.
