Did you know that small dogs lose heat faster than large dogs and are more susceptible to cold and rain? Sweaters and coats aren’t just cute on them, they’re necessary in cold weather to help maintain their body temperature!

It's because small animals have a larger surface-area-to-volume ratio, meaning they have more exposed surface area relative to their body volume. So they don't conserve heat or maintain a stable body temperature as well as larger animals.

So go ahead, don't be embarrassed. Bundle them up and enjoy your winter walks together in style and comfort 😊

Relief fundraiser August 3rd 10am to 3pm Donate and get your pets photo taken ❤️ Our relief fund has helped so many pets get the care they need and we want to keep it going!

Happy Wednesday! We have had a lot of feedback about adding a more homey feel to our clinic and one of our staff members suggested sharing our family photos, which the management team thought was a fantastic suggestion!! We are introducing our furry kiddos throughout our exam rooms, we hope you enjoy them! ❤️❤️

How are Doug and Kevin?! They are doing great! They have settled in nicely to their home and are no longer getting UTI'S due to the stress of hospital life. They have a regulary routine and as you can see, easily entertained.
