Tomorrow is the Parade of Bands! Besides a chance to see a bunch of area marching bands it also means there will be street closures in the Hazel Dell area. Those closures will start around 9 a.m. and last until 2 p.m. Please plan accordingly.

Buddy is a big gentle giant with a great alert bark. He loves going out and about and meeting new people, he also loves staying at home with his people and gardening. Buddy loves to patrol his property line and check for ways to go for a longer walk ( a buddy approved fence is required) Typical to his breed he has a big alarm bark, this won’t go away and is part of his breed and personality. He loves getting cuddles and pets and if you stop petting him he will pet you or headbutt your arm to get you laughing and petting him again.
Buddy rides wonderful in the car and is a gentleman on the leash.
Buddy can be stubborn… if he’s just not ready to come inside or doesn’t see the point in sitting – he will simply just walk away. Buddy has a bit of separation anxiety that continues to get less and less with consistency. He barks when the foster family leaves but all is quiet when they arrive back home and hes clearly been sleeping on the couch.
Buddy LOVES to swim, thank goodness he’s well behaved for grooming. Brushing daily and proper up keep is very important. Buddy is great with kids ( but will knock them over when playing) dogs, cats and chickens.

We are back in the shop today and We are planning on being in the shop tomorrow as well!
The parking lot has been plowed and de-iced, but be cautious and we can always come grab your pups from the curb if needed.

Happy new Year!
Hope everyone had a good safe night!

As we go into 2024 Designer Dog has some fun news; We have restructured our scheduling to be able to take in more Dogs and have more availability for clients.
We also will be holding some fun photo contests to win prizes throughout the year so stay tuned on those!

We take appointments from 7 am to 2pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays.

We will be back in the shop tomorrow at 7 am, Call to book out with your favorite Groomer.

We look forward to taking care of all our friends throughout 2024 and beyond ❤️

The Holidays are in full swing.

We want everyone to have a Happy and Healthy Holiday season.
But you’ve probably heard about the respiratory illness going around. It’s pretty scary.

If you notice any Coughing, Eye discharge or Runny noses please get your Pups in to the vet.

We only accept fully vaccinated dogs, we sanitize everything in between each pup, we are not allowing any floor time and are limiting early drop offs and late pick ups, as well as checking in with each owner about symptoms during reminder calls.

We love all our clients and just want everyone to have a safe and happy holiday season.

If your pup has shown any signs of illness within the last 2 weeks please let us know and we can reschedule.
