It's been a whirlwind over the last week, which feels much longer then a week, but here we are harvesting a few goodies. Three inches of rain out here sure made it soggy and sloppy. Our little pond even managed to collect quite a bit of water, although mostly dry already by the morning. Beautiful veggies came out of the field looking mostly nice, but good to see how the fields held with the deluge of water. Wish I had taken more pictures but the sun and work felt so nice today and the silence was golden.

It's all about garlic and shallots being planted in between rain clouds that really begin to make us feel like winter is about to hit. We have chosen to trial a couple of varieties to see which ones can call the farm a permanent home. We will save and plant out more of the winners to build up stock for all the roasted, fermented, and raw garlic delights that you love so much. The last planting of the year for the first investment of our upcoming season. We can't wait, how about you?

The river of atmosphere has washed over us; reminding us to take a pause, be still, and prepare for the months ahead. We chose to listen and have made the decision to not be tomorrow so that we may begin to recharge from the busy summer months. We will be back at the market next Saturday and every Saturday until the takes a break for Christmas. We hope you have an easy day tomorrow full of light and warm apple cider. See you next week!
