Job description
```Duties```
- Provide exceptional care and support to animals in a professional setting
- Assist with animal handling, feeding and grooming
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by owners
- Monitor behavior, and overall health of animals
- Clean and maintain animal enclosures, including kennels and facility
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Exercise animals and provide mental stimulation through playtime and enrichment activities
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, treatments, and observations
```Experience```
- Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic or pet care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of animal physiology, veterinary terminology
- Familiarity with veterinary assistant duties, including administering medications and assisting with procedures
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: 10-6 Monday-Friday (one Saturday a month)
8 hour shift
