UPDATE: they have been picked up!

Found these three dogs! At the metro park in Vandalia! Exact location in the photos. We couldn’t keep them due to us have multiple animals as well. Food and water was lefted. We also informed the ARC.

Job description
```Duties```
- Provide exceptional care and support to animals in a professional setting
- Assist with animal handling, feeding and grooming
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by owners
- Monitor behavior, and overall health of animals
- Clean and maintain animal enclosures, including kennels and facility
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Exercise animals and provide mental stimulation through playtime and enrichment activities
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, treatments, and observations

```Experience```
- Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic or pet care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of animal physiology, veterinary terminology
- Familiarity with veterinary assistant duties, including administering medications and assisting with procedures
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: 10-6 Monday-Friday (one Saturday a month)

Moose's owner died.

5/2 we received a request to help take him in because family was requesting assistance since none of them could keep him. Being closed to intakes, we were unable to help.

5/6 Moose was euthanized by the family due to inability to find placement.

Wanna know how bad it is? THIS is how bad it is! 🤬

He was only 3 years old.

Fly high, Moose. Sorry you were failed and none of us could help. Guess this is one way to be reunited with your person.
