Hello,
I am a local coordinator for International Cultural Exchange Services. I currently have six students that would really love to come to Michigan for the 2024/25 school year. All six students are very involved in church and youth groups in their local communities. Would you be willing to share this email with your church congregation to help find host families for them in our local community? As a thank you, we do have a referral program of $350 for each host family that the church refers to. If you would like to sign up for the referral program please let me know.
*there is more detailed information on the six students below
Host families do not need to have a high school student to host. All family dynamics are welcome! Empty nesters, families with younger children, and single parents all make wonderful host families. The goal of our program is to promote diversity, and we appreciate diversity in host families as well!
Host families need to have a spare room (can share with same gender between 12-17), and the willingness to open their hearts and home! Hosting is a fun experience for all family members who gain a new family member from thousands of miles away and learn about another country and culture firsthand. Hosting will be an experience you will never forget!
All six students speak excellent English, have their own health insurance, spending money, allowance, and have local support and guidance!
To find out more information on how you can help-I can be reached by phone- 989-980-7866 or by email [email protected]
โLet us do good to everyone.โ

God Bless,

๐ฎ๐นโช๐งโโ๏ธโญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐โโ๏ธ Edoardo (17) is from northern Italy and lives with his parents and older brother. They are Christian and typically attend church weekly, where he is an activity coordinator in his parishโs youth group. He loves family time, especially around Christmas when they spend more time indoors and watch movies. He has watched the Harry Potter films many, many times. Most days after school, Edoardo plays videogames, practices some computer programming, or hangs out with friends. He loves music, especially pop. He really enjoys spending time outdoors and is a big nature fan. One of his obsessions is astronomy, and studying the sky and science. He is not super athletic, but has done kung fu and swimming. He would like to try a sport in the US just to have a new experience and make some friends. Edoardo is not a picky eater, and of course is a big pasta lover. Edoardo says โI hope to learn to be even more independent, to improve my problem solving skills, to learn about new traditions, new ways of living and I also hope to leave something good for the family who wants to host me. I would like this period spent together to be a special exchange, I hope to receive but above all to give.โ 248SVIITA021JYM
