I hope everyone’s ready and excited for this years TN velvet hunt! This is a clear representation of how to properly cape your deer to avoid problems during the mounting process and having to have a new cape like the pictures below. Continue skinning down until you reach the base of the skull and then remove the head. Make sure to follow these cuts EXACTLY. I’ll be caping deer in the shop all weekend if you don’t feel comfortable doing so yourself.

The velvet hunt is the first sign of the the 2023 deer season and its inching closer! It’s one of my favorite weekends of the year and I’m pumped to see all the deer that come in! I’m getting tons of calls and texts regarding velvet care and time windows to get them to me. Bottom line is be careful with the velvet and get him to me ASAP. I’ll be available to skin and take deer at most all times that weekend so if it’s late and you find him don’t hesitate to call! Goodluck to those grinding it out in the heat in a couple weeks!!

We’ve been blessed over the years to be able to meet some fantastic people and make new friends. Deer season will soon be here and I’m excited to hear all of the stories that come along with it! Good luck to all that plan to hunt this year! Enjoy some photos of a few of the deer from the 2021 deer season.

Some of the 2020 waterfowl that I’ve recently finished up. This isn’t near all of them but I tried to take as many pictures as I could along the way. I had a blast putting them all together! Thank you to all that trust me with your birds!I’m blessed to be able to do what I love and meet so many new people along the way!
