“Riley” owned by zagnoli just turned 5 months old. She is an absolute pistol, and a good example of what we can lay for a good foundation with the right dog. She is an absolute blast to train!

Meet “Rookie”, one of 5 puppies we’re currently raising between the age of 8 weeks and 4 months old. “Rookie” has big plans to be a master hunter, and our puppy head start program will get her well on her way to achieving that goal.

It is amazing what can be done with the right dog at a young age. Rex is a client dog, being raised in our home. He is 9 weeks old and we are using his natural food drive to shape behaviors like sit, place, heel, and recall.

We’re doing a weekly shoutout, to those that mean the most to team WWR. It takes a village, and we’ve got a great one.

This week, we give thanks to Bill Chapman. Bill means more to the retriever community than he knows. He works at every trial/test, harder than anyone, and brightens everyone’s day that gets to meet him. We’re lucky to get to train with Bill at least once a week, and it’s always our favorite day. Thanks Bill, for being a great dog person, and even better man.
