🐕🥰 Employee Pet of the Week! 🐶🐾
Hi! I’m Gillette but my parents call me Gilly….or Bean, Doggo, Burrito, Gillers…pretty much anything and I respond. Camp is my favorite place because I LOVE to swim! I’ll chase a deflated basketball all day! My people taught me how to climb the ladder, so now I can jump off the dock whenever I want! ☀️🌅
Jaws
Pet of the Week- Jaws is a sweet 6 year old Staffordshire Terrier that has been coming to rehabilitation services since his surgery back this spring. His wagging tail is happy to greet us every time. He and his parents are determined and dedicated and are working very hard every single day to get him strong again!
Guess the breed!! 🤔
This little guy is Knox and he is the happiest ball of floof! At 13 weeks old he weighs in at 23 pounds. He was here for his first visit today and charmed his way through the hospital 🥰…..a video will have to do because he was such a busy, wiggly beast 😅. Any guesses on what this sweet boy’s breed is?! We don’t see many of them here so we were so excited to meet him! 🤗💕
We’ll reveal his breed tomorrow - stay tuned!
UPDATE - You guys are good! This happy little dude is indeed a Bouvier des Flandres 😍 This is a working breed that originally was used for farm work - sheep herding, cart pulling, etc; these days they are often used for police/protection work or as guard dogs, and also as pet dogs. As with ANY working breed it’s very important to provide proper training and structure, along with lots of socialization and making sure they stay busy with mental stimulation. It’s going to be great to be able to watch little Knox grow up!! 🐾
