Day 3: Spaniels, watching competitions, more in depth diving into skin and coat science. This adorable floofy creature is sharing my house. He was getting judged after his groomer finished.

Dallas day 1: my canine roomies are amazing and adorable. My people roomies are super nice and welcoming to a stranger.
Today was Poodle profile refresher, skin cell and hair follicle anatomy and pathways to Master Groomer certification. Tonight is a meet and greet, and hang out with the housemates and sleep. Tomorrow will be an early morning, with class at 8am.

We had a great time at the lake, getting in some rest before the busy summer season hits. Of course my own dogs got some neglected grooming done and we met another shepherd and a lab there. If you are looking for a pet friendly escape that is close by, we stayed at Mercer Lake Resort. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin and rented boats a couple of times. The resort owners let us take the dogs on the boat with us. There is a small beach for them to play on and a swimming area. The water is surprisingly warm there.
