Hello, I am the manager of Pawfectionist Grooming Salon and Spa,1952 S Tamiami Trl , Venice, Fl, 941-800-4286. I am seeking a pet (dog and cat ) washer and dryer as well as an experienced groomer. I am Permanent Resident from Ukraine and currently have a TPS Groomer from Ukraine working for me. Speaking English is desired but not necessary as I speak Ukrainian and Russian.

The pet washer will be required to wash and dry dogs and cats, as well as sometimes helping the groomers hold unruly and nervous animals during grooming. This person must love dogs and cats and be able to work with them without stressing them out. The pet washer will be paid $15.00 per hour on a 1099- NEC, with usually 6 hours minimum per day and usually 5 days per week. Please note that as is with most businesses in Florida, the tourist season is twice as busy than in the summer, so expect more hours during season and less during summer.

The groomer must be an experienced groomer that knows how to do breed standard cuts, knows how to deshed, demat and shave, and also knows how to do custom cuts as requested by the customer. The groomer will be paid at 50% commission of the price to groom the dog and keep 100% of customer tips on a 1099-NEC. The more dogs they groom the more money they make. Being able to groom cats is desired but not necessary. Please note that as is with most businesses in Florida the tourist season is twice as busy than in the summer, so expect more hours during season and less during summer.
