Some of you may have seen the news about the canine respiratory disease that is occuring.
We recommend that you do not allow your dogs around other dogs that are coughing, and if possible decrease or eliminate social activity with other dogs. We also recommended that your dog has or gets a bordetella (kennel cough) and canine influenza vaccine.
Please call the office if you have any questions.

The illness can include a cough, fever, lethargy and a loss of appetite. Veterinarians recommend that owners avoid boarding their dog if it shows symptoms.

We have taken over 35 hours of continuing education over the past few days, and are excited to use our new knowledge to improve the care and well being of our patients! We will return to normal business hours on Friday January 20th.
