We loved seeing all our customers today I’m so blessed to have so many wonderful families that support my family business! Thank you for the love, the friendship and sincere kindness! I came home to cook one of my cozy medium whole chickens which I call Hodgepodge chicken. I made these for my kids every single week when they were growing up with whatever we had as far as veggies. We ate off of that chicken for a couple days and then made soup out of it. Feeling nostalgic and cozy. My kitchen smells amazing!

Hello 👋 we got so many online orders that we just don’t have the time to continue having the website open to meet the needs of reservations and all the turkey 🦃 packing. Our website is always closed after Wednesday due to the busy-ness of packing all the farmers markets and pre-orders Sunday through Wednesday. “Little House On the Prairie” growing up and I’ve been following with Melissa Gilbert (who played Laura Ingalls Wilder) for awhile ❤️ I think I read every book and dressed up as Laura Ingalls Wilder for many years for Halloween. I even visited the set in High school before they tore it down back behind Simi Valley.

I make a wicked magical bone broth and call it Wendy’s Witches Brew. This is my wicked version chicken bone broth because I throw in a chicken foot that is part of the magic of making a very gelatinous broth. So many healing and magical benefits to bone broth. 🍖 🥩 🥓 On the weekends I get to the shop before 4 am to get ready for our farmers markets! During the week I’m here every day at 6 am. Running a business for 9 years is no joke! 😂 I haven’t been doing too many markets lately because I’m catching up on paperwork, putting together my commercial kitchen and some time to take care of myself. Not too mention the hot days are tough in the farmers market on my body. 8 hours in the heat working is a bit much for me. But the guys all love the heat and have great attitudes working in it and I take care of them all, to have what they need. I’ll be back soon! Thanks for coming out and supporting us! I see all your names on every order, every sale come through Venmo, Zelle and credit card. The guys tell me who all comes and say to tell me hi! They keep me very connected ❤️🙏🏻

Sneak peak pictures to my shop and soon to be new Commercial kitchen to create all my specialty handmade items. Already approved as a workshop and pick up location. We just don’t have time to open it as a store with store hours. Stay tuned…. I Just saved up enough to get my new commercial fridge and work table station which arrives soon! I have all commercial freezers I purchased over time. Our old walk in fridge that caused a lot of condensate issues now houses all our farmers market coolers as a dry storage space. Always moving forward with one foot in front of the other! I’ve always saved up for the new things I need to get. I don’t rely on business loans or partners. Several customers helped me in the early days and to those people, I still thank them! I still use the envelope system paying weekly for everything including for saving for new equipment …. that I learned from my Grandpa Kammermann ☺️ Its taken me longer to get what I need but it’s the best way for me to grow my business and take pride in what I’ve created 🙏🏻💛 for 9 years ❤️

❤️‍🩹 I’ve changed my life for the better! Reversed many health challenges these past two years especially this summer. Besides eating low carb/animal based lifestyle, I’ve added swimming and running on the beach. I’ve been losing weight, sleeping better and all menopause symptoms gone. If you wanna learn more about it, I’m having a gathering at my shop in Ventura on Saturday, October 5th. I can’t say enough about the carnivore diet lifestyle. I know many people disagree with it, but if you know me, and my life, you know that I’ve been a yo-yo dieter with my weight up and down. With this, I’ve never felt better. I’ve seen hundreds of my customers heal many chronic diseases.
At my 2nd Annual Carnivore gathering we will have Chef Courtney Luna (It’s Courtney Luna) who wrote the book “Carnivore in the Kitchen” along with my good friend James Stewart talking about the benefits of Raw Milk. I will be doing a talk about regenerative farming and the benefits of eating meat free of soy, corn, grains and no GMO. It’ll be a five course meal made by Courtney and I. Courtney will also have her book there and will do a book signing. We will have a raffle and you can purchase any of my meat and egg products. Starting my half marathon training…today was a beach run and then I will swim 🏊 as well later. I used to run cross country and many 5k and 10k back in the day. I actually trained with professionals to run long distances. I lifeguarded and taught swim lessons, CPR, lifeguard training and loved it all. Got off track when I had 4 kids, gained weight and allowed the challenges of my life to take its toll on my body. I’m now reversing it all and can’t even tell you the feeling it is to run on the beach for the first time in years. Down 70 lbs and working very hard at it! I’ve reversed pre-diabetes, no more joint pain, plantar fasciitis, menopause symptoms gone, no sleep issues, I feel great! Hope to see you at our carnivore gathering in October to learn more. It’s going to be a scorcher 🥵 here in Southern California and we can handle it!! We love seeing you every week at our farmers markets! And love your support on inclement weather days to come out and support all your hard working farmers and team that put together the farmers market. Fun fact, I’ve owned a farmers market and managed farmers markets for years before starting my business 9 years ago. Many of the farmers across the farmers market community, I already had a friendship with. We all realize how easy it is to stay inside on challenging weather days or shop at your convenience at some local grocery food stores…but it means so much to see you come out to the farmers market and support everyone in the market.
