Message from Finder: Sweet older dog found today wandering in 102 degree weather. Was very scared but followed the gray dog it was roaming with who walked right into my hse. Safe and sound in my possession right now.

Description: White older terrier. Has some kind of eye stigma so might be blind in that eye.

Remember Sapphire? She was the cute cane corso we caught with a squeaky toy.

She was adopted to an amazing family, learned so many new things, got to go on adventures, and had a pretty incredible new life after living months in the orchards.

Well, after 6 months, Sapphire sadly killed the families beloved cat. The family wasn't home so no one knows what transpired, but they came home to a horrible scene. There had been no issues with Sapphire or the cats prior.

Because the family has other cats and house bunnies, they felt they had no choice but to return Sapphire to SPARC.

Heartbroken and crying, they handed her over.

She is confused and missing her family. She does great with other dogs and loved her young human sibling.

We hope someone will go meet her and fall in Love. She is house broken, crate trained, great on leash, good with kids. No small animals allowed though just in case.

She is back at Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center. 705 E. Santa Barbara St, Santa Paula.
