My dear clients (current & new & future)

I'm going to come across as an angry lady here for a second.

Today while working on this sweet Mini Poodle, as I was shaving her face a man walked into my doors with his giant dog, ignoring the sign on my front door (All services by appointment only) and in doing so, caused this sweet girl to startle. I knicked her nose bridge and under her eye causing a small laceration and razor burn.

I'll admit, I lost my cool on this man and screamed a few profanities as his dog barked at my client on the table, while he asked if I could cut his dogs nails.

Nope. Absolutely not.

From here on out, when you drop your dogs off to me I will be locking my front entry door and it will remain locked until your dog's services are completed to avoid this from ever happening again.
Accidents happen, but THIS was totally preventable and should never have happened in the first place. I am done with entitled people just showing up and not calling, texting, or messaging here on the business page expecting walk-inservices. I've never allowed it and I'm not about to start.

Am I being a jerk? Yeah, maybe. However my priority has and always will be the SAFETY of the pets left in my care. Thank goodness for understanding owners like these (and all of you) that know this would NEVER happen on purpose.

To say I'm mortified this happened, is an understatement.

To the guy who walked in here, have the day you deserve ✌️

Today is National Australian Shepherd Day!!!

What better way to celebrate than to spend the afternoon with this handsome dude!

Russell is 11 years old and he comes in to see me for a good blow out and trim of his feet. He's a pretty active guy, having to keep his brother Riley and sisters Emme & Reagan in line at home, and to make sure the horses behave too of course.

Sweet Miley!
She's a 7 month old mini golden doodle and today was a real trans-fur-mation for her!

Her mom takes EXCELLENT care of her at home, I didn't find a single tangle or mat on her.

When you do the work at home, I'm able to do any style you want!

Granted she's definitely not perfect, but puppy coat is giving way to her incoming adult coat and pretty soon (probably by summer) she will be in full adult coat and we can do even more fun styles with her!

Don't forgot how important it is to pre-book your dog's next visit at EVERY appointment! If you're able, we can book you for the ENTIRE year! I already have a few clients that opt to do this, if you want in let me know! This guarantees your appointments in a timely fashion according to your pet's needs.

🚨 🚨🚨Attention Clients🚨🚨🚨

I will be temporarily closing my books to new clients until further notice.

As most of you know, over 50% of my current roster is referral & word of mouth. That being said, I LOVE the trust and faith you all have in me to keep your pups safe & to make them look their best, however I will not be taking on any new clients at the moment. Currently, I'm booked out into the middle of March with very little wiggle room, which is causing me to push my 6-8 week people out 9-10 & that's just too long.

I don't have the capacity to take on new pups at this time.

BUT
This does not include existing clients that acquire new furbabies. We will just bring them in together and not make separate appointments (which, those of you with mutidog homes are set up to do this already).

If you have family/friends looking for a groomer, I am more than happy to refer you to my colleagues in the area. I'm always a text or call away.

I have this idea. I should've done it sooner but, last minute seems to be my jam lately.

Christmas is a happy time of year for so many, but not so much for some.

Starting next week, if you bring in TWO donation items for our local shelter (Rome), I will give you 10% off your grooming (not for nail trims, bath&brush or full grooms only).

I will get a table and set it up in the salon for all the items to be displayed before donation.

We will run this from next Monday (12/16) until the end of January.

Our shelter needs ALL KINDS of items such as

-Kibble
-Canned food
-Treats
-Blankets
-Toys
-Laundry Soap
-Lysol or Bleach Disinfectant

If you can give, please consider it this holiday.
If your appointment doesn't fall in this time frame and you still want to donate, I will add the 10% off your NEXT service with me if you drop off items at the salon.

Good morning everypup!

I'd like to take a second and introduce you to our new student intern, Theresa!
Theresa is a senior at Canastota currently enrolled in the BOCES Equine & Animal Science program.
She's a tri-sport athlete and is very excited to learn about dog grooming!
Theresa will be here with us one day a week from now until May.
She's so excited to meet all of you and your furbabies🩷🐾
