Hi everybody!

Unfortunately we won't be at the Farmers' Market tomorrow.

While we are working hard behind the scenes we will only be able to attend the market every so often.

The updates will likely take a couple more months at which point we should have enough supply to attend every Thursday market in Vernon as well as markets in Kelowna!

We will make sure to keep you updated on Instagram to let you know which Thursday markets we will be attending!

2 billion people worldwide don't have access to safe water.

With agriculture being one of the top industries impacting global freshwater supply, it is more important than ever that we come up with solutions. This is especially important in the Okanagan Valley which is a semi-arid climate prone to yearly water shortages.

At Uplift Aero Greens we are proud that our aeroponic system uses 95% less water to produce a head of lettuce compared to traditional growing.

This is possible because the water is contained in a closed loop. The plants take up only the exact amount that they require and then the water is cycled back to a main reservoir. This system of recycling clean water is repeated for the entire life-cycle of the plant.

Introducing founder and CEO of Uplift Aero Greens- James Stuart.

In 2020 James began his journey into aeroponics by designing and building his own system with the goal of increasing year round food security for our local community. After two years of experimenting, he is now producing hundreds of heads of lettuce weekly in an 800sq ft area without using any sprays or pesticides. All while using 95% less water than traditional growing!

Talk about sustainable!
