It's been a while updating Gilman Stables-- here it goes-- Tina is in Vernon she did not get into race this week, she raced last week in the excelsior and finished 6th, she raced very well. She will be racing if all goes well, good lord willing at Monticello on Thursday 8/15. She did very well in Goshen, she placed 3rd in the fair stake and 5th in the excelsior-- enclosed is a picture of her. As for Dreamme-- well she is on the shelf right now, perhaps she may become a Momma at some point. Stueben Rudy, he is in training at the Fisher Stable in Maine, I think he's graded a C at this point LOL. As for Little Willie and his Mommy Lucky Flower they are on a farm in Maine., I need to go see him before he gets too big, I'm hoping next weekend as this weekend, I'm off to see Tina in Vernon. By the Way, Senior Gilman (father) has been doing well racing he got a 4th last week and he raced at Topsham Me, 1st start for his Jail house Jesse c**t and he finished 6th. About time the SR of the Family got out there racing! lol.

Plainridge was a cancel for today-- which was great!! No worries.
Hopefully it will cool down by next Thursday for racing.

Going to Plainridge tomorrow--3rd race 4 hole-- there are some good one's in the class...so we will shall see.---Come on--Dreamme--give us a winner--winner,winner some sorta dinner..lol

All good---Raced at Plainridge yesterday-- race went very well and we finished 3rd again, so we are 3 for 3-- Three starts and three thirds! I can feel the win coming soon-- she is getting faster and faster each week--finally my Dreamme will make dreams come true!

Racing tomorrow Plainridge- Dreamme aka Seven Thirty- she is in the 1st race and has the 3 hole. This is only her 2nd race..so we will see how things go.

Alot happened yesterday on my late Grandma Lois Marion (Wilson) Gardner's birthday- My Dreamme had her first race and finished 3rd! My mare Lucky Flower had a big strong stud c**t, we are going to name him LM Wilson-- calling him W***y. My Grandmother Lois was my inspiration, my best friend, I looked up to her..., she was a loving person, who would rather give then to receive. She was a very talented horsewomen in both the saddle horse industry and the harness racing business, she enjoyed both riding and driving. She was born into the business through her father Mark Wilson who was also a well known owner/trainer in the saddle horse industry and the harness racing business. Grandma Lois you are someone I miss dearly...You are my best friend...and I know your watching over. Luv you--

I think we brought the snow to New York when we dropped the horses off.

The first pre-season qualifiers were scheduled for this morning but Mother Nature had other plans. Let's hope she cooperates for Opening Night of Racing on April 12th!

Spring is here-- I think finally! Hoping for a good year with the horses., expecting a baby soon in May--that's a foal of course. lol
Tina is in New York in hopes to support the stable. Dreamme will be racing here in NE for awhile then off to New York hopefullly. Rudy is still being a big baby, but we'll get serious next year.

March is a bad month month for me every year- no racing at Saratoga until April 11th, they are not letting horses in or out of Plainridge, I imagine other tracks with follow suit ie..Scarborough Me., my physical was this month all kinds of tests due to my upcoming age! My Aunt is in the hospital for who knows how long..Hurry and get me onto April please.

Spring of 2012 has already started for Gilman Stables NY LLC, Emmi has started racing in Saratoga, Dreamme and Tina are currently in training here in New England and with a little luck both fillies will be racing starting July.

Well, racing season is over for Emmi, he will take a a vacation for a few weeks, Dreamme is still at the barn with me, and Tina, well she is still working right now the baby needs to catch up. Heading to Saratoga in the morning dropping off a horse.
