For further bookings please contact https://petemergencyeducation.com. I unfortunately took a step away from teaching as 2023 took a heavy mental toll on me. In the mean time I have started my own (non veterinary) business in top of working as a CVT FT.

Thank you to everyone I’ve met along the way and frequently booked with me. 💙

I just wanted to update everyone about my schedule. I will be taking a much needed break from classes until April/May. I work FT as lead surgery technician and Ive been doing this on the side for about 4-5 years now. Over the years advanced classes have been added and the basic is being updated which requires a lot of studying/revamping on my end. I want to make sure my classes are at the highest standards which is why I’ve decided to take a small, temporary mental break. I want to apologize for any inconvenience to Pet Emergency Education or anyone who has requested me during this time. I will be back! Thank you for your understanding and I’ll be available to receive messages/emails.

Just a note from your local emergency vet as we enter a holiday weekend...
😓 We're going to be BUSY. This isn't just a holiday thing; in the Covid world it's an all-the-time thing for veterinarians everywhere. There are far more sick animals than there are veterinarians. Emergencies aren't random; they're often predictable and preventable. Please do all you can to keep your pets out of trouble.
💉 If you normally see another local vet for routine care, please reach out to them FIRST for non-emergency concerns. We do see pets for wellness care, but since we must be available 24/7 for life-threatening emergencies, we must limit the number of new clients we can accept for routine care.
🚑 We will ALWAYS help you in a true emergency. Sometimes we'll tell you to drive here immediately, or we might book you an appointment for later the same day if it's not a life-threatening concern. Sometimes we'll tell you to try calling other hospitals to see if they can see your pet sooner than we can. We want your pet to get the help they need as soon as possible, whether or not it's with us.
❤ Please be kind to veterinary staff. We have overextended ourselves, jumped through a thousand hoops, re-invented every wheel, and solved problems in ways we never imagined possible in the past two years. We genuinely care about your pets, yet there are hard limits to how much any one of us can do in one day. Abuse of our staff will not be tolerated.
📬 You can always email us with non-urgent concerns at [email protected], & request prescription refills via boltonvet.com/rx-refill-form .

Thanksgiving will be upon us tomorrow! Remember to keep your pets safe while you enjoy the holiday! 🦃

Thanksgiving is a time for friends, family and holiday feasts—but also a time for possible distress for our animal companions. Pets won’t be so thankful if they munch on undercooked turkey or a pet-unfriendly floral arrangement, or if they stumble upon an unattended alcoholic drink.

11/14/2021

We are less than two weeks away from Thanksgiving and if you are hosting a lot of family and friends it is a great time to start thinking about how the holiday may impact your pets. Many of our cats and dogs aren’t used to new people and commotion. Some will love it. But for some, a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle will help. And remember that food or alcohol left within reach can have disastrous results. A little planning now can mean that EVERYONE will have a safe holiday.
