We are still in need of new items for our upcoming Dinner & Tricky Tray!

You can donate individual items and let our team take care of making the baskets, or if you have a pre-made basket you could donate that as well! (basket value is $50+)

We're excited for our triple event weekend (all day at the Fair on Friday, 4pm at The Greeks on Saturday, and 2pm at the Sunday Miner's game), BUT don't forget about our biggest fundraiser of the year, only a little over a month away!

If you're not able to come, you can still donate at the link above - all donations will be MATCHED!!! This is such an amazing way that you can help support the pets at our shelter! We are also still taking Tricky Tray donations, so feel free to drop them off at the shelter any time, preferably before September starts so we have time to get everything together. This 7 month old puppy is still looking for her forever home 🏡

She is full of energy and love and is a quick learner. She’s learning to walk on a leash so we are looking for someone who is dedicated to continuing her training.

Lee really needs out of the kennel to thrive, we are desperately looking for adopters or a foster!

Kirby is one of our sweetest seniors still looking for a home. This 7 year old mini poodle has come a long way since being rescued from a puppy mill thanks to his loving foster home. He follows his canine foster sister everywhere, loves people including the young grandkids, is doing great with housebreaking, and gathers all his stuffed toys into a pile at bed time. He has cataracts, almost no teeth remaining, and some arthritis in his back legs but otherwise is a “younger” healthy senior, hopefully not even middle aged for a little guy. It is with an extremely unbearable pain and sorrow in my heart that I have to say goodbye to my little boy Pizza Pizza... He was my inspiration for so many things and was by my side thru some very difficult moments in my life... He rescued me when he was 9 yrs old... he had just turned 18 in Jan... Heaven has gained another one at the other side of the rainbow... Bye Bye my little boy... 😔 I'm devastated 😔

C’mon folks! Isla is still waiting! What more does she need to do ⁉️⁉️⁉️

Isla is an island dog 🏝️ born into a desperate situation and transferred to SAVE for a better chance in life. She is adapting well to the colder temps and ready to warm the hearts ❤️ of her furever family. Isla is a bit shy at first, as many of the dogs rescued from Puerto Rico can be. Once she comes out of her shell, she shows her puppy personality...playful and affectionate. She is well socialized to other dogs 🐕
Isla is working on her housetraining and learning some new commands. She is also practicing walking on a leash. If your family is ready for lots of puppy kisses and the responsibility and time commitment of a puppy, apply to take Isla home today!
