I received the most heart felt note from Mike after his first in a lifetime experience on the line with his wonderful dog, River! She is by FC-AFC Seaside’s Pompano Jack. Congratulations, Mike, and best wishes for a fun-filled successful future!

Rankin Brooks Seaside Estuary “River” and owner Mike Marro jammed the Lake Champlain Retriever Club Derby in Morrisville Vermont this weekend!

We are super proud of this duo finishing a tough 26 dog derby. Mike offered to run River when I told him I would be unable to make it to the trial on short notice.

We met in a random parking lot in the pouring rain at 7 am, gave him a 1 minute rundown on how to run multiple marks with her, and turned them loose! Outstanding job Mike!
