After the rain comes the sunshine ☀️

Sharing a bit more personally than usual but I think it’s important in a sea of highlight reels to be open about real life. And mine has been a bit strange recently. It seems like a prolonged season of loss. The loss of my health, the loss of Fritzy, recently the loss of someone who meant a great deal to me and now the loss of a horse who was much beloved by a farm family member.

Among all the sadness and struggle, it’s exceptionally easy to focus only on the frustrations and overlook the pockets of happiness. But if you pay attention, there is joy everywhere in the little things. It’s in the friend that brings you a coffee or offers you a ride to the doctor, in the teammate that takes on an extra burden to help shoulder yours, in the dog rolling in the grass with glee, the horse contentedly munching his hay.

If you remember to notice those glimmers, little by little they can bring you back some peace.

I want you to know if you’re struggling, you are not alone. This season won’t be forever. Look for the pockets of joy and we’ll find our way through together.
