Soap cutting is so satisfying! My OCD gets the best of me though. No one sees the soap while it is curing except for me, but I can't help myself. After every cut, I have to wipe the same side of each bar, place it in its spot, perfectly spaced.

So here's the progression...surviving the heat taking care of the farm, Dancer putting up with me and the milking, blending the oils and milk, and voila....SOAP! Lemon Verbena and Oatmeal, Milk and Honey up first.

All in preparation for soap making. After milking, we filter the milk, then pour up the precise measurements for each batch and then freeze.

Goat snuggles are the best ! ❤️ Of course the boys get jealous and want attention too, but everyone gets love after the evening milking! Baby steps being taken and getting closer to making more of those lovely bars of soap!

Meet the new additions to the farm! Missy Moo, Dancer and the momma Daisy. She is a momma to triplet girls. There is Penny (the white blue eyed baby) and the other two look alikes need names. As you can see one of them just melts in your arms and will fall right to sleep!

A little farm news... Moses the rooster is doing well and has made a few friends. He was a donation to the farm from my sister in law this past week. Kevin is still missing his girl, Karen, but a few of the guineas are trying to keep him company. They are doing a pretty good job. Lastly, these two mommas have been sitting on eggs for a bit and today I came out to find this cute little surprise.
