Dr. Dan's Animal Hospital We are two Veterinarians practicing in Vero Beach, FL. We are now open!

The mission of Dr. Dan’s Animal Hospital is to provide the highest quality veterinary medicine and ultimately to improve the quality of life for pets in the Vero Beach community. We believe that a fully informed, friendly staff and quality time with the doctors is essential to providing this care for our patients and clients. Informing and educating clients of their pet’s health status gives our clients the knowledge to make informed decisions on behalf of their pet’s best interest.

Update: Nino has been adopted!!

Nino is a 6 year old neutered male whose looking for a home. Nino was a part of our TNR program a few years back and was unfortunately found a few days ago abandoned in a motel room. We are in need of towels!!! If anyone has any old towels or sheets (no fitted or extra large blankets please) laying around they no longer need or use, we will gladly take them! We are open 8-5 Monday-Friday and 8-12 on Saturdays! Thank you!

We are still without power as of 3pm. Fingers crossed we get it back soon! If we still do not have power tomorrow, we will pick a time again for people to come pick up any needed medications. The time is TBD but we will keep you updated!

Update: If your pet needs medication refilled, please comment below and we will private message you back asking what kind, the amount and dosage instructions! We are going to try to fill what medication we can around 12pm today! Please let us know if you have any questions.

As of 6am, Dr Dan’s is still without power! We are coming up with a game plan and will continue to update you guys. Thank you all for your continued support and patience as we deal with the aftermath of this hurricane!

While our clinic remains without power, Jinxy is enjoying the cool AC at an employee’s house and loving every minute! Reminder, Jinxy is available for adoption and has been with us since February! She would do best as an only kitty but is an absolute love with humans! As soon as we reopen, please stop by or call to learn more about her!

With hurricane season upon us, now is a good time to make sure you and your pets are prepared! Please read the list below and let us know if we can help updating any vaccines or provide any needed medication!

Kittens, kittens, kittens!!! You want them , we’ve got them! We have so many kittens right now ranging from 8 weeks to 14 weeks. All are spayed/neutered, microchipped and had their first set of vaccines! Adoption fees are $50. If you or anyone you know is interested, please call us at 772-567-8468 or stop by our office!

Just a reminder that the Blue Angels will be here this weekend!! While us humans may be excited for their arrival, many of our fury friends are not. If you know, or think your dog or cat may need a little help getting through the weekend, please call our office at 772-567-8468!
