We have a fenced in dog park in our front yard that includes artificial grass, sandbox, tires to jump and run around, mulch, and real grass that is used as the potty area. Love going outside 10-20minutes several times a day. Very Adventurous running around becoming their own. Eating smashed puppy food 3x a day.

Wow! 4 weeks old today we are half way to leave our home and join yours. We are doing great with potty training all are going in the box only. And we are now having outside time for 10 minutes a couple times a day; we also have started gruel feedings and now have a water bowl. mail trimming and play time has begun. They are being socialized and have been in contact with well over 50 people so far. They are barking and talking and very active.

We are 3 weeks old day!!!! We are playing together, walking, and barking. We started potty training. So let the fun begin, we are only getting more active from here and we are ready. So keep your eye out for videos and pictures.

Their motor skills are starting to kick in and they’re becoming more active by next week. They’ll be walking all over the place.

Outside Adventures!!

The next stage of puppy life: Mouthing and play biting This is the time when the dormant senses wake up. Their systems begin to develop and they become aware of their surroundings. As mom jumps out of the box, they suddenly watch her, wondering where she is going. Pups have started trying to climb out of the whelping box. At this stage, we added a potty area in the whelping box to begin training. Emotional growth is just blossoming as the puppy realizes they are alive, so socialization is in full swing now; every time they are awake someone goes in and spends time with them. The puppies sleep 20 or more hours a day, still, so we have just a small window of play time broken up into sessions throughout the day. Young pups bite and chew on their littermates constantly, as part of their normal social interaction in the whelping box and, as you can see, this has begun with these guys. They play biting with their littermates to learn their bite strength from their mother and siblings. If a puppy bites a sibling too hard, they'll yelp to tell the puppy biter to back off.
