This is "Barbie" a 4 year old OTTB with 2 race starts. This mare has been going through a restart training program after being thrown out for her 3 year old year. This mare just needs someone willing to put in the time, effort, and work that does not mind a higher feed bill. *Comments about her weight will not be appreciated - this mare has come a long way in a short time with her weight & training* Pictures can be provided.

This mare during her reboot has not offered a buck, rear, or bolt! She is athletic, sweet, and tentative. She is a giver and provider in and out of the saddle. Currently UTD with a Coggins and Dental - Front shoes only at this time. This mare could make a great flat, over fences, or fox hunting horse! Her ground manners are SPECTACULAR - she has been heavily trained on ground work and manners. Currently standing at 16.1 hh.

🍫Chocolicious Vegas🍫 is FOR SALE!

2016 AQHA Gelding standing at 17 hands!

“Vegas” has had quite the easy and laid back life. He has been used for leisure and for lessons! For the past year he has been Youth owned and managed - so he can easily be Youth and/or DIY Amateur friendly.

Currently being shown in the WP Walk/Jog and Hunter Walk/Trot. This horse HAS NOT been pushed to his full potential so I will be the first to say he is not finished! He definitely can grow, learn more, and become more. He did his job for his owner and never needed to be pushed farther - plans change and that is why he is being considered for sale.

This horse has been hauled and seasoned this summer in the classes I stated above. He is the type you can pull off the trailer and just go - Minimal to no spook, Stands for the farrier (Currently has FS), UTD on Vaccines and Coggins, EASY keeper, jumps onto the trailer with no issues, loves attention, and definitely could take a 4H kid places!

… And it very much so works in their favor!

They previously just brought home Multiple Grand and Reserve Champion titles in the Youth W/T & Youth W/T/C Hunter Under Saddle Division.

Along with her long overdue show ring appearance - Hailey has also been killing it in the shooting arena with the same horse. We are so happy for these two!

I think we all at Double S can say that it has been a pleasure watching Hailey grow up inside and outside of the barn. Her dedication, drive, determination, and utmost passion for this horse industry has been an inspiration to many! We just want Hailey to know - WE SEE YOU. We see you at the barn every chance you get, you riding and helping with the training horses, early mornings and late nights, happiness for every rider no matter the circumstances, your love for every horse, your smile and cheerfulness but the most important thing we see out of you is your desire to get back up after every failure and come back stronger each and every time!

Cute little mare for sale!😍 Ad will be posted soon - Ranchy type with a great mind! Has done the Ranch, Trail, Horsemanship, Open Show W/J, Halter and Showmanship! She just won the Virginia Residential Showmanship with 1st under all 3 judges at Spring Breakout.

Working Day and Night!🤩 Our 2024 Team of horses are looking amazing!

🔥Diablo🔥 doing the “Double Point Drill” This drill is great for mounted shooting horses and mounted shooters! Why is it good for People? ⭐️ The Drill allows you to work on leg position, leg pressure, gun changes, off/strong shots, and focusing on multiple task at once (turning the barrel, focusing on your shots, and body & hand position when executing the maneuvers in the pattern) Why is it good for the Horse? ⭐️The Drill allows your horse to show its strengths and weaknesses as the Drill has barrel turns, quick maneuvers, and a lead change. This is an amazing way to get your horse focused on you and your commands - as the horse will have to understand your cues and body position to execute the drill work. Diablo has been placed on the drill to overcome some hind end weakness and lead swapping when not asked. He has become very confident on the Drill pattern but he has previously ran barrels so instead of asking for a lead change in the middle, I ask for a canter-trot-canter transition or also known as a simple lead change to be able to reassure myself and him that I am still in control of the speed and momentum going through the drill.

Getting these 3 year olds broke around here! TRUST is everything!🙌🏽
