Happy Holidays from Valley Herd Health!

Our office will be open from 8am to 12pm on Christmas Eve, and closed on Christmas day. We will resume normal business hours Thursday, Dec 26th at 8am.

Welcome to Valley Herd Health

Valley Herd Health is locally-owned large animal mobile veterinary practice serving Augusta and surrounding counties. As a full-service large animal veterinary clinic, Valley Herd Health provides preventative & routine care, treatment & exams, & 24/7 emergency services.

Our veterinary clinic in Verona has a large selection of over the counter treatment supplies, antibiotics, vaccines, pesticides and de-wormers, livestock identification and handling supplies, reproduction supplies, and nutritional supplements. We also offer prescription medications.

Dr. Brendan Martin grew up on a beef cattle, poultry, and row-crop farm in Augusta County, Virginia and has always had a passion for agriculture. Brendan attended Virginia Tech, where he dual majored in Dairy and Poultry Science and then went on to attend Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia.

After graduation, he jumped headfirst into the veterinary medicine industry and opened Valley Herd Health. In May of 2017, he opened the veterinary clinic in Verona, Virginia; a store-front that offers a wide variety of livestock medicine and supplies.
