The True Care Fund allows us to help cover the cost of unexpected veterinary care for those in need of assistance.

Donations should be made in person, cash or check are preferred, the offer runs while supplies last, and we have to have a seen your dog for a wellness exam within the last 12 months. We are looking for someone to organize and clean True Vet Care every weekday afternoon from around 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Perfect after school job for a student, but anyone welcome to apply! More hours potentially available. Tasks include vacuuming, taking out trash, using our world class MopIt to clean the floors (Fun!), organizing cabinets and drawers, cleaning kennels, dusting blinds/vents, and of course the ever-so-glamorous task of searching for and picking up dog p**p to keep our yard neat and tidy. Hello! This is Charlie...he is a love. That is the whole story with Charlie. He wants to be loved and love you. Charlie loves to be on your lap or sitting right beside you most of the time. He wants to sleep with you at night, talk to you, eat on time, and snuggle up really, really close as much as possible.

Charlie's perfect life would be the complete center of attention with no other animals in the house. He would be very happy with a 1 or 2 person household. He has tolerated living with another dog but is truly not happy with another pet in the house. Charlie has many characteristics that are just adorable. He can never quite get close enough to you, he's just a love. Charlie does have to be watched at doors, as he is sometimes interested in going outside. He is NOT to go outside.

Charlie is a very healthy neutered, micro chipped, beautiful DLH 6 years old cat. He is black and white with a black heart shape on his nose! He is not declawed. He is up to date with all vaccinations. His birthdate is November 3, 2014. He definitely needs brushing every other day, for sure! He's gorgeous.

**Re-Opening True Veterinary Care Update**

Thank you for your patience as we navigate our reopening plan. We currently have staff that are high risk and unable to receive the vaccine, and many of us have children at home who are too young for the vaccine. We can not wait to see you in person, but have to keep the health of our True Vet Family and personal families in mind. We are currently developing safe practice protocols based on current and future conditions. Our goal right now is to be open to masked (regardless of vaccine status) in-person visits by August or September of this year.

Thank you everyone for allowing us to keep our staff safe while COVID ran amuck. With that in mind and the mask mandate ending soon, we wanted to give you an update. Our number one goal is to continue keeping our staff safe while providing your pets with the quality care that they deserve. We will be continuing curbside care as we have several staff members who can not get vaccinated for medical reasons.
