In honor of veterinary technician appreciation week, we celebrate Sandy! Sandy graduated with her veterinary technician degree from Blue Ridge Community College in 2023 and joined MRVH that same year. Her previous experiences include working as a hospital corpsman in the Navy and a license vocational nurse. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, art, travel and training her dog, Axel. We appreciate all your hard work and dedication Sandy! 🐾❤️

Today we celebrate Caitlyn, LVT! Caitlyn graduated with her veterinary technician degree in 2013 from Blue Ridge Community College. She has been with the MRVH team for 6 years and just this year started her own house call business in hospice and palliative care. In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her family and reading. We are so proud of her and appreciate all she brings to MRVH ❤️🐾 Thanks for being awesome Caitlyn!

This week is dedicated to all the hard working technicians who work tirelessly to help heal your sick pets and support veterinarians. Dr. Cash will be speaking to the kids at JAM next week about the vocation of veterinary medicine, a field she is passionate about. JAM is a local ministry for elementary-aged children.
