Today, we're shining a spotlight on our newest Forget-Me-Nots—Oliver, Jardini, Katie, Jordy, Jett, Jovan, and Jill! 🐾 There's one thing you'll notice about these adorable juveniles... brown tabbies galore! 🐱💚

2024 has truly been the year of the brown tabby here at Angel's Wish, and unfortunately, with so many brown tabbies, these sweethearts are often overlooked time and time again. They’ve been growing up in loving foster care, and each one is ready for a forever home where they can truly shine.

Forget-Me-Nots are cats and kittens who’ve been with us longer than average, whether because they’re bonded pairs, a little shy, have FIV, or had medical issues that took time to resolve. Sometimes, we aren’t even sure why they’ve been waiting so long! 😿

These kitties all deserve love and a family of their own. Let’s make sure they’re not forgotten!

🎉 32 Adoptions This Weekend! 🎉

We are absolutely THRILLED to announce that 32 amazing kitties found their forever homes this weekend! 🏡💚 A huge thank you to all the adopters for giving these kitties the love and care they deserve.

But don't worry—we haven't run out of kitties yet! Nearly 40 kitties are getting spayed and neutered this week (!!!), so we’ll have well over 100 cats and kittens ready to find their families this weekend!

The holidays can be a wonderful time to adopt as we know many people have extra time off to bond with their new pet and help them settle in. We’ve got adoption events every weekend in December! Stop by to meet your new best friend, like Noelle pictured here, and make this season extra special. 🎄🐾

This heartwarming story from Channel3000 shows how a microchip reunited a Wisconsin family with their cat, Rutherford, after 11 years and almost 900 miles! Rutherford went missing in 2013 but was recently found in Georgia thanks to his microchip. His journey highlights the importance of microchipping pets to ensure they're identified if they go missing. Without his microchip, Rutherford might never have made it home.

Meet Lemmy: A Story of Resilience and Love 💕🐾

When Lemmy arrived at Angel’s Wish, her pain was undeniable. Years of untreated infections had left both of her eyes severely damaged—one ruptured, the other beyond saving. At just four years old and a mere four pounds, Lemmy needed immediate, life-saving care.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Lemmy received the surgeries she desperately needed. Her journey wasn’t easy—she endured two surgeries and multiple rounds of antibiotics to heal her fragile body. But through it all, Lemmy was surrounded by love and expert care from her foster mom and our veterinary team.

✨ Blind but Fearless ✨
As Lemmy healed, her incredible personality emerged. She found joy in comforting the smallest kittens in her foster home, climbing over gates to be near them, grooming and snuggling them with endless devotion. Despite her difficult past, Lemmy’s future is now bright and filled with love—all because of people like you.
