KLHC CHRISTMAS PARTY 🎄⭐️

Come socialize and ready to discuss ideas for 2025 club events.
If you’ve never been to a club event before, this is a great time to jump in, meet members, and learn more about who we are! You do not have to be a current member to come.

Everyone who attends the party is automatically entered in a raffle to win a free KLHC 2025 Club Membership. One membership will be given away at the end of the night!

Attending the party is free, guests will be expected to cover the cost of their own meal.

✨Our KY ILHA Fall Show was a blast✨

This club has some of the most wonderful people in it. Our club members competed so well yesterday and we all had so much FUN!

Our next member to introduce is Gracie Lynch and her horses
Ziva (QH Appaloosa cross) and Gentry (Dutch Warmblood)!!!

Here’s what Gracie had to say about liberty horse and the club 🎉

1. Why you do liberty work?
I love liberty because it allows me to test not only the bond with my horses but also how well we are communicating. If my horse is confused at liberty it will be much more apparent than if I am holding them on the end of a lead rope. I also love the feeling of being totally with syncretized with my horses that I get when working at liberty.

2. Your favorite part about the club?
My favorite part about the club is the knowledge I have gained from attending club events. I have made many friends in the club who I reach out to when I have a question about liberty schooling or showing.

3. A piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting liberty work?
Spend time watching your horse to see how they communicate before trying to communicate with them in a new way.

4. A fun fact about you?!
I started college when I was 16

Our incredible members make the club what it is🎉 this club would not thrive the way is does without everyone of them!

We’re going to start introducing 1 member a week and their liberty horse(s)🐴

First up is Terry Hendricks & Courageux (Quarter Horse) & Njála (ridden Icelandic Horse)

Here’s what Terry had to say when asked about her experiences!

1. Why you do liberty work?
I Love Liberty because it is a wonderful communication tool for understanding where my horses are emotionally at any given time. Our connection means everything to me. It challenges me to be much clearer in what I am asking and to be more patient in my training when asking for the correct answer.

2. Your favorite part about the club?
My favorite part about the KYILHA Club is the space it provides to fine tune that training for competition and fun. To show off how proud I am of my horses and how far they have progressed. The camaraderie is a real bonus within the club.

3. A piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting liberty work?
My advice for anyone just beginning: simply start, trust your horse to enjoy being at liberty - the state of being free!

4. fun fact about you?!
I was a papergirl at age 14 to prove to my parents I was serious about buying a horse! The first female carrier in pleasure ridge park!
