Long time no see! Everyone here at CVC wants to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 and add a quick reminder that we will be closing at 12pm tomorrow, we will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving, and will be back open on Friday the 24th with our normal schedule.

On June 5th we saw Miss. Molly for a car accident. Over the course of 9 weeks we did bi-weekly bandage changes and got this sweet girls foot healed! Isn’t medicine amazing?! While we’ll be sad to not have Molly in here every week, we are very excited that she is healing/healed and can be her happy wild self ❤️

We started the week with Peanut, an American Alligator that was attacked by another Alligator named Cashew. He belongs to the Kentucky Reptile Zoo. He checked out fine and was treated for wounds to his tail.

Wanted to say thank you to Mr. Booker Hancock for his blood donation for our sweet boy Oliver. It may not have been a match, but we still appreciate his caring heart ❤️

Had a very interesting Thursday morning when the Kentucky Reptile Zoo came in for a wellness check on these guys! Below is a Savannah Monitor, a glass lizard, and an alligator snapping turtle!

If you look close in the second picture of the snapping turtle you’ll see what’s called an “vermiform” on the turtles tongue which is an appendage that allows the turtle to lure in prey due to the worm like appearance! 🐢

Starting February 2023, our clinic will only be open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month 8am-12pm. You may check our website, page, or you may call the clinic at 859-873-6463 for any related updates!

The weekday schedule will remain the same, Monday through Friday 8am-6pm

As always, we appreciate all of our clients for entrusting us with your pets care. 🐶🐱

Happy Veterans Day to all of the men and women who served, are currently serving, or have family that did. Thank you for fighting for our freedom and safety of our country and families. Today we want to recognize these men and women and make sure that they are supported.

There are many organizations that offer service animals to our veterans who may have PTSD, ones that are fighting another mental illness or those that simply need a companion.
