Zgo got his introduction to the pool and did great. Bear was more than happy to cool off and make a few jumps off the dock. The puppy even got involved! Zoesha helped show Moxie the fun that can be had dockdiving! What a fun weekend! 🌊

We went to Amana, IA this weekend to try our hand at some flyball racing. We had some new people take hold of the reins they were throw and they did AMANING THINGS!!!

Dog shout outs!!!

ICE - He ran FLAWLESSLY. with handler help ran multiple near perfect starts!

AVATAR- He ran with very minimal mistakes this weekend!

ROULETTE - she ran with a new handler perfectly- no mistakes made.

VORTEX - She didn't get to run very many times as she was thr back up for Incognito. But also didn't make a mistake.

SYRYN - well .. she was going to make her debut on getting a new ball but another dog crossed on her and scared her pretty bad She was unable to finish the weekend.

BANSHEE- She faulted once .. picked up another dogs ball ... but other than that ran her little heart out as our perfect little hight dog!

TWITCH- He came in a little bit on the struggle bus and dropping his ball.. we worked through some things... changed some things up and he finished up today being the rockstar we knew he was!!!!!

TRAITOR - He was super solid as he usually is! Making a few bobbles on the box .. we have a few things to work on.. all in all he was an amazing start dog!!!!

TROUBLE - OMG This little ball of fun worked the box with another dog in thr other lane and even ran beside it! He's going to be a force !

WILD- He also worked the box some ... worked on getting his little hinny up!

THUNDER - He did amazing.. first time at a tournament and he worked his box and got his ball off the box like he had done it 100 times!!!

ECHO! - She has been to s few tounements but hasn't been able to really compete ... she ran the left lane and owned it! She ran up her jumps a couple times all weekend. .. she even ran I the right lane a couple times with out mistake!

Harris you did an amazing job running roulette... all that hard work at practice really does pay off!!

you were thrown to the wolves first thing Saturday morning !!!! Bailey box loaded for incognito all weekend and even got to compete with whammy today!!

You two were amazing this weekend and I hope we didn't scare you off too bad !!!

Thanks again to OSR for everything you guys do to help us so we are able to compete!!!

When the weather is hot like this getting your training in can be challenging. Wait for the cooler part of the day, play games inside, work on environmentals, short sessions multiple times a day, and of course swimming. What are you doing to keep your pups happy and entertained during the heat? Drop some ideas!

You meet the nicest people at dog events! This young man decided to bring his buddy Gunner to the Mississippi Ag and Outdoor Expo and try dockdogs. They ended up taking 2nd place in Novice! Pretty good way to spend your birthday I’d say!

Some of our members made a trip to Illinois this weekend for an SRS/UKC dockdiving event. 4 dogs, 4 new titles, 4 dogs placing in finals, 4 dogs with invitations to the championships. So proud of this group and all their hard work!

Clinic is open to new through experienced teams. We will work on all aspects of dock diving to include AR, Speed and Vertical disciplines for those ready.

Our second annual dog show at the Morgan County Fair is in the books. So proud of all the 4H and FFA members! Special thanks to our judge Kim Sorensen and master trainer Kristie Harris and all the other SGWDC members who volunteered their time and expertise to help these kids. The skills learned with their dogs will be carried with them for a lifetime!
