Elizabeth James-Lipscomb brought her own rooting section from Wisconsin to cheer Irresistible Design and her on at the Lexington Junior horse show. Claire, one of the group tried to make off with the HH mascot, a concrete pig, but she was no match for this “porker”.

We are very sad to announce the passing of Crystal Creek’s Commander on June 2, 2024.

Formally owned by Carl and Kathryn Nichols and Sandra Surber, Sandra, Kevin Michaels and Linda Fischer were a few among others that Had the privilege of showing him to multiple World’s titles. Sandra moved her ponies to Hollow Haven shortly after the Freseth’s moved to Kentucky. After Sandra’s passing, Melissa Moore purchased him and he stood at Hollow Haven until his passing. He will be missed by many.

Hollow Haven had a great trip to Madison, Wisconsin for the Madison Classic Horse Show! As always, it was run beautifully and we had a great time! It was great to see our friends from Faraday Stable, Jeffrey and Kelly, along with all our other Midwest pals! Onward to Rock Creek✨

This dramatic image captures the fast action and beauty of this horse, particularly in the mane and eyes. Photographer Terry Young says of this picture; "In my thirty five years photographing American Saddlebreds as well as other breeds, this photograph is one of my favorites. The horse is CH New York Style, trained at the time by Lynda and Andy Freseth."
