Well it’s that time of year again, the Indiana gun opener is just a sleepless night away. Good luck to all who are going out this weekend, stay safe and shoot straight!

It has been super busy here with deer rolling into the shop, I’m currently working through the handful remaining deer I have left from the 23/24 season. So hang tight if you’re anxiously waiting for that call or text that your buck is ready. Lots of deer hanging on the drying wall and in progress!

I am almost at my cut off for new customers already, once I hit that number I will be limiting it to current/return customers only. I will still have an overall cut off this year just like every year, once I hit my overall number I will have to cut it off and I will take deer again in October 2025. The cut off ensures that I’ll be able to finish them all within a year and maintain the quality I strive to provide.

Here’s a purdy Wisconsin buck finished up and ready to go…

Just finished up this big custom project. A gorgeous, mature Kentucky velvet buck chillin on a dirt mound over a rock out cropping chewing on his cud.

This was really fun project to work on, I started out with a standing pose and altered to a bedded pose. This mature buck was much larger than the form so those alterations were made as well in order to get the true size of this brute. It would’ve been super easy to just order a bedded form and make it work but nothing here gets mounted straight out of the box, even a simple shoulder mount gets altered to fit the deer going on it and add in any unique features that it may have had. If you’re looking for quality work, whether it’s custom pieces like this one or just a simple shoulder mount, I can help. If you just want your buck on the wall for a cheap price, I’m not the one for you…Here’s some finished pics and some progress photos of this piece.

***Attention***
If anyone shoots a buck this season or knows of someone that shot one that doesn’t want to have it mounted, I am looking to get some spares for the shop, I will BUY raw capes.

The cape must be in good condition and caped out with plenty of cape left on like the one pictured below or I can cape it out for you…I will only take capes off 3.5 year old bucks or older, the bigger the cape
the better for you $$$

Please don’t just cut the head off your buck if you plan to just do a European mount, call or message me and we can see if it’s something worth it for you and me. I will make it worth your while if it’s a nice cape in good shape, especially these great looking October deer!

Indiana bow season is here, hope you all have a great season! Like every year, I will only be taking in a very limited number of deer. I will take in a certain number open to anyone, then the remaining spots will only be open to current/returning customers only ( up to a certain number ) so please don’t wait if you have one you’re wanting done, once I hit that number that will be all I can take until October 2025.

I can only do so many in a year on top of the other things we have scheduled throughout the year and to be able to keep producing the top quality work I strive to produce, there has to be a limit.

Sent this buck home earlier this summer,
The Robbie Roland buck…this is a true buck of a lifetime with a BTR score of 233” and some change. This buck was a 100% wild, free range Indiana whitetail.

They chose a 1/2 body wall mount with a natural habitat to showcase him.
